Cascade Dam in north east Tasmania in the hills above Derby. It’s rare but when it overflows after heavy rainfall, the twin overflows turn into impressive waterfalls.
Beautiful Tasmania, it's a wild time of year! I used to hunt for sapphire and gemmy quartz. Too many river wreckers around these days 😢 Now I hunt agates and jasper on the beaches, wild days are my favourites. Thanks for taking us along! 💙

❤❤ a lot of water in font of the dam. Was Mt Paris dam around the same time? Did you use the chainsaw on that tree.
Mt Paris Dam was the same day. I had to walk the last couple hundred metres to the water fall because a tree across the track.
