We attended the FROG rally at the same fairgrounds last year. We enjoyed being able to connect directly with the Riverstone team, get some issues fixed while we were there (they limit the number of issues to 2 since there are so many RVs). What we loved connecting with folks that have the same model as we have and tour their units to see how they have modified. It was also awesome that the marketing team was onsite to hear from the owners on changes they would like to see. As you said, community of brand which is different from Huddles where folks have many different brands and it is RVlife that connects us.
We ❤ going to the rallies 😊 If you can’t make it into the National rally, consider going to one of the regional ones. They do not offer the 3 items to be repaired BUT they do have service techs and representatives from Grand Design at every one. They will check your VIN for warranty issues when you check in and those people will get the techs attention first. If they have time after that, they will come around and do some smaller repairs 😊 Great video guys! I’m glad we got to see you while you were there 🤗🤗🤗
We went to the GD Rally in Cashmere,WA this July. I agree with you guys - it was so absolutely worth it. GD was impressive - their tech helped us, we learned how to clean ourair con - flush and take better care of out black tanks...and we met great people!!'
Thanks for the video. I am thinking of buying a Grand Design next year. Their good customer service ratings encouraged me to look at their trailers.

Your comment about “your RV will get damage and you are responsible” is spot on. We just spent a week in the northern New Mexico mountains. The stay was great, but eastern New Mexico roads are not. One 50 mile stretch was dotted with bumps followed by skid marks. This time, it cost me two window shades. Three years ago, it disconnected my couch from the floor. Never again. That is my responsibility.

We actually attended a local Grand Design rally as guests with our friends who own one. It was really great! They had swag bags, pot luck, seminars, a silent auction benefiting the Honor Flag and a raffle! (I actually won the raffle). Our friends were able to get repairs done as did many others. Good job Grand Design!
We attended the FROG rally last year. We didn’t get the impression that there were people there for a gripe session. But TH-cam has fueled the obsession for Grand Design and that has caused the problems within that brand no matter what model. The Riverstone brand is the top of the line for Forest River and is not built in mass like Grand Design so within that brand we don’t have the problems like yours do. Yes Forest River as a whole has it issues with customer service. Just glad we went with what we have.

26:40 I got my tickets within 60 seconds of them being available. I turned in my list of what I needed done. It was the pull handle for the black tank. They gave me the parts and basically said good luck. My next door neighbor got a new kitchen flooring, a new toilet, and a few other things. All of his work was completed by the techs. So you weren't missing out on anything.
It is great to see they are putting a rally together a rally for you guys. We had a bit over 1200 Airstreams at our International Rally this past June. It was a great rally!

We would love to go.....but our computer is not fast enough to buy/get tickets. By the time we got into the system, 250 were on the wait list. And no, we are not going to drive 2000 miles to wait outside the gate to see if they let us in.

We went last year. We had a great time. We do prefer the huddles to the rally because you have more inclusion and a tight knit community.

Thankfully the wind wasn’t too bad while we were there - lucky week for us!
Rally looks fun but I bet they don't have shotguns and white water rafts !
I like you both but I would never buy or own a Grand Design after hearing all the stuff that happens to them (bad)

The idea of it seems nice, but those lines go on forever... we're a family of 3 with special needs in our family so crouds to this degree wouldn't work for us. I have stuff to get replaced like everyone, but at this point if I could just get a set of stairs. I gave up and tried to just order a new set myself... their $800 but they wanted extra $400 for shipping.... I just gave up. Maybe they can develop a system that when folks request tickets they offer the ones who've never been first so they can have a chance. It's a tall order to organize something so large.

We are a RV TH-cam Channel where does it state we must have brand loyalty. Grand Design doesn't pay us for anything. We think of those starting their journey and are looking for their options.
Love your channel but Grand Design, not so much. I had a new 2019 Grand Design, Reflection in 2018. It was a lemon. It had long list of problems and GD would not assist with all the problems we had. It seems GD panders to owners with social media following and ignores other owners that don't have social media channels. I sold it 3 years later and got a new 2022 Newmar, London Aire. Couldn't be happier. Customer service is night and day difference. Don't mean to rain on your show/channel but the Grand Design experience was so horrible, I just needed to unload and call them out. Hope you enjoyed your time at the rally.
