I bought a 2020 Vulcan S this May as my first bike & I 100% agree with this video. My next bike is the scout bobber hopefully by the end of next year. It’s crazy how you decided to get the scout as your next bike. Great content, keep up the good work 👍
Thanks for watching. I’m sure you will have a lot of fun on the Vulcan S while waiting to get the Indian. The Indian Scout has always been my dream bike. Ride safe, and if you haven’t already done so, I’d greatly appreciate it if you would subscribe to my channel.
Thanks Tripp. My next 2 videos are on what to look for when buying a used motorcycle and a press release by Kawasaki about the future of their motorcycle business.
Funnily enough, I landed to your channel like an hour ago while looking out for some reviews of the Icon Stealth helmet and how to attach my GoPro on the side of the helmet, then I realized you used to ride a KVS (which is the bike I'll buy in a few months), and that you are wearing a University of Nebraska shirt, which I will hopefully attend next year to get my PhD. I feel like I already know you hahaha. Thanks for all the help with the helmet and the bike. Already subscribed!
GO BIG RED! Thanks for subscribing. I loved the Kawasaki Vulcan S and would be hard pressed to find anything bad to say about it, and the only reason I sold it is that it didn't meet my current needs and I could not afford to keep two bikes. Also, I am glad that you found my video(s) helpful Good luck on your PhD and if I make it to Nebraska in the the near future I will let you know.
Subscribed! 😁 You basically got me into buying the booster plug. I am still learning to ride and the jerkiness is annoying. I also wouldn't want a nasty surprise as a new rider. It's rather inexpensive. I bought a used 2015 version with Arrow exhaust and some other mods. As I love in Europe, Corbin seat is not an option (they cost twice here), so I will get one of those Core seats. They are also more affordable. Already ordered a full headlight replacement into led. I don't like how the current one looks. It's a bit outdated in my opinion. Unfortunately the winter is coming in Sweden. No riding until April. But it's a good time of the year to install mods. Good luck with getting that Indian Scout, it looks like a sweet bike. Holding thumbs it happens soon 🙂
Thanks for watching. Once you install the booster plug you should notice the difference immediately. The bike will have more power, the engine braking will be substantially reduced, and the power band will be more linear.
I have just subscribed mate! Hope you get your Scout! Thanks for the videos - they have really helped me decide that the KVS is likely to be my first big boy bike. I have just started riding and will hopefully complete my full licence in the Uk in the next few months (Covid permitting). I love the Indian Scout for looks and more but concluded the KVS is a better beginner bike (despite the scout 60). However, I hope, like you, to progress to the scout in due course - unless I decide that the bike after the KVS should be another style of bike (Adventure, Classic, Naked, Scrambler etc etc - Ducati Desert Sled looks great too!). Thanks again and keep up the videos - really appreciate your efforts. Cheers!
Thanks for the sub, but more importantly, thank you for your kind words. I'm always grateful when someone takes the time to let me know that my work is appreciated. Good luck on getting your full license and best of luck with your next bike. Ride safely.
I useFinal Cut Pro X to edit all of my videos. I believe I used a Canon Rebel T7i and a GOPRO HERO 7 for the video and I used a RODE VIDEOMIC GO microphone. I have since upgraded to a Sony A7III, a RODE VideoMic NTG and have added a GOPRO HERO 8 Black to the mix.
Nice video. I just bought a 2015 ABS version in the same green this past weekend. My biggest con, which I noticed withing 30 minutes of buying, is the seat (mid-reach). It slides me slightly forward, and starts to make the area under my jewels go numb. I ordered the extended-reach seat, so hopefully that will help. I also noticed the issue with 1st and 2nd gear, so I may take advantage of the booster plug option in the near future. Other than that, I'm really digging the motorycycle. Subscribed!
Thanks for watching my videos and subscribing. If the extended reach seat doesn't fix the problem you may consider getting a custom seat made. I know people who have gotten the Corbin seat and loved it.
My man love your content , I have the same bike was wondering if you would happen to know where the engine number is located , want to register the bike but don't know where it is . Thank you in advance
Me encanto tu video amigo. Y coincido mucho contigo en los pros y los contras. Pero sigo enamorado de esta hermosa motocicleta. Un saludo y espero llegues al nivel de suscriptores. Al menos ya tienes uno más conmigo. Saludos !!
Thank you for watching, and an even bigger thanks for subscribing. I still love the Vulcan, but I was not in a position to have two bikes and a touring bike better suited my needs, so I now ride an Indian Roadmaster. Ride safely.
Thanks! 👍I am glad it helped. Let me know if you wind up buying one. Ride safely, and if you haven't already, I would appreciate it if you would subscribe.
Aaaand I'm subbing cause I want u to have an Indian Scout cause I also want one some day and because I'm getting the Vulcan 650 S soon and my first bike and I'm probably gonna need ur help with some of ur vids
I’ve considered getting a Vulcan 900 custom, but I’m not sure yet. Eventually I’d like to get something bigger than my Vulcan S so my wife would be more comfortable on our rides.

Great video Gene, your best yet IMO. Keep ‘em coming!

I’m honestly not sure because I never had to look for anything other than the VIN number on the frame. I’d suggest calling the dealership.
I too brought 2020 Vulcan S on October 2020. I love it..I was thinking the same thing..if i ever buy another Bike, it will be Indian Scout.
The scout is definitely still my dream bike.

I'm looking to trade up to this specific bike with aspirations of an Indian. Really appreciate the video and info! Hope you get your Indian!
Thanks. I hope you get the bike you dream of as well.
Yeahhh mine is full black
Ride safe mate ✌️
I wish mine was orange, but not enough to go through the trouble of painting it.
Good review 👍
Thanks! 👍I am glad it helped. Let me know if you wind up buying one. Ride safely, and if you haven't already, I would appreciate it if you would subscribe.

Thank you. Best of luck with your new bike. I am excited for you.
Here's your solid, good vid. Canada
Hey, thanks!
Great video, but in all seriousness we need those subs. So this man can own himself an Indian scout. Let's go boys!!
Thanks for the support and thanks for watching my videos.
Awesome cruiser bike :)
So far I really love it. Sometime this year, as soon as I hit 10k, I’ll do a 10,000 mile review. I have around 8k now, so probably early spring.
Subscribed👍
Thank you, and welcome aboard!
Cool video. Keep it up. I own a kawasaki vn 900. Your is a nice one too. You have my support with a subscribe

Booster plug installed no difference .
The main difference I noticed was a decrease in engine breaking and a less twitchy throttle.
“Pretty bike”. Lol..
I thought it was a good looking bike, but it would have looked better orange.
