Love the Good Doctor series! Thanks Sony.
Farscape had a scene where Crichton had to say goodbye to his dad forever. The dad started arguing & explaining they still had time... standard denial stuff. Crichton said "we're down to minutes, dad. How do you want to spend them." That hit deep and I've always approached these kinds of situations with that thought ever since.
My fav episode
*Gosh I hate it when a patient doesn't get along with Dr Shaun then he just goes to him/her and narrates his life story to em, he tells em things from his private life, either telling em his good/bad past experiences from his life or just tells em some random facts and struggles of it and then tries to somehow get the patient's take on it, whether he did good or bad and also wanting to get some advices and reassurance from em smh.. Like he desperately goes to that patient in hopes of winning their trust or something and that they kinda sympathize with him and not treat him bad and that they start getting along well with him..* 😒
What's wrong with a doctor trying to make a connection with an uncooperative patient? Would you rather see the patient suffer due to their own stubbornness?
This is literally how human connection works lol
He’s trying to connect with others lmao he’s doing just that
Haggai 2 verse 4
be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:
One of the worst shows on TV full of so many tropes it's ridiculous.
And as an autistic person I'm tired of seeing the robot voice, they do it in audiobooks they do it in TV and movies I get it it's a way of saying this kids autistic or this guy is too.
There's no way this person could have a job the way he freaks out all the time break s*** and acts nuts.
And this actor is a one trick pony You can watch episode 1 or episode 100 and he does the same s*** it's very boring
Oh, the guy playing a character continues to play that character, the same way he was on episode one or episode a hundred? Yeah, that's called continuity. An autistic character isn't gonna stop being autistic as some point, we are born autistic, and we will die autistic. And not all autism is the same. Hell, mine autism isn't the same as my brother's autism. We are two entirely diffrent kinds of people.
As an autistic person this is one of the best tv shows ever. If you never experienced hyperventilation or sensory overload during a very rough situation and sh1t then you aren’t autistic at all. Also, people with autism can either have a monotone voice or normal voice and thats very normal dipsh1t.
