Yeh it’s unfortunate because he says he’s not a dirty fighter but continuing down this path actually makes him look like exactly that.. it would be better for his growing image to just acknowledge it as I doubt very much his admission would factor into the commissions decision regarding the low blow.. that said, why tf wasn’t Jamie saying something about it while they were in the cage? It just seems so odd to get beaten on the back of being paralysed by the knee and then thrown and not mention it at the time??

It happens all the time in fights. It's not like he gouged his eyes or something. The ref should have called it not Bo
Not just that but DC was right about him getting the finish off to the side easier and he's trying to act like he knows more than DC. This isn't NCAA D1 anymore, it's MMA. And DC was both an Olympian and a double champ in MMA. He was right and Bo is being pretty petulant and self centered, he's acting like a grumpy ginger, his personality is kinda annoying. Also coming onto Ariel's show saying he's happy to be there but his smile is fake and his body language tells the obvious truth. He's pretty entitled and seems to be taking some of this stuff for granted for such a newbie.

2. He has very little MMA experience and is saying that there was nothing wrong with his arm triangle. If he had the arm triangle locked in properly he would have gotten the submission very quickly. He should be more open to accepting knowledge and criticism.

When you go to side control during an arm triangle submission , you have less control of your opponents ability to roll than you had have , if you stayed in mount or top half guard .

Sure but winning with accidental low blows is hardly what you want people to remember you for, put yourself in the headspace of Jamie Pickett and think about how much work it takes to be a fighter then think about how you would react in that situation.

@@maximusprime6680 The low blow is a veteran move, which he has learned during his wrestling career. When fighters get more experience, they usually use eyepokes, low blows, head butts, and other dirty tactics in a fight.

Guys if he actively says "yes it was a groin shot" or even "it was accidental" he is admitting to it being a groin strike which could he used in the process of turning it into a no contest which of course bo doesn't want and his managers don't want. You’re wrong. Craig Jones is one of the best bjj practitioners in the world and agrees with the way he got the finish. He doesn’t a post fight analysis and explaining why and has a tutorial on his b team jiu jitsu channel. His bjj game is beyond what any of these announcers or critics are saying. Bo’s ahead of the game.

Ultimately, I think only Jamie Pickett knows for sure where the knee landed. But one thing that can be said in favor of his avowal that the knee struck home is that from one second after it hit till now his reaction and story have stayed consistent.

8:50 The way Bo Nickal finished that Choke was actually much much better than the alternative that everyone else was recommending. If Bo got pass the guys legs and got his chest to the mat the guy could have turtled. And the way that he actually finished it with a rear naked style grip was ideal.
Yes. Clearing your knees off to the side creates more pressure but they can escape. The rear naked style reduces the chance of escape, but creates less pressure

From half guard or full mount so your opponent cant turtle, and apply the rear naked choke type grip for security. It's a beautiful technique.
There are two types of fans in MMA. The ones that enjoy the sport and the ones that feed drama. For the former, fights matter. For the latter, the actual fight is of little importance. In fact to the fan of drama the events unfolding before them do not matter in the slightest, the drama of the event matters. Things said before and after in social media messages and interviews are what matters to these people, the content of which is inconsequential. It only matters if it's dramatic.
