yea, the khabib fans hate to hear it, but that's a fact. he could've been on the goat list but he retired (which is obviously his right). part of goat talk is turning away contenders as you age and younger/different opponents get in there, and khabib didn't do enough of that to pass jones, gsp, johnson, etc.

It’s also the fact that he went 13-0 in the most competitive division in the sport. I've always found the PED argument very lackluster for a couple reasons. The first being that pre-usada, more people were on them then we'll ever know. The second is more important, and it's the fact that PEDs don't make you a skilled mma fighter. That comes from hours on hours of practice, determination, drive, etc. Jones is by far the best mixed martial artist of all time thus far, and that's just the way it is.

Half the crap that the average Joe uses is illegal to most fighters. USADA tested the generic cialis and found the sample tainted. You guys know the story but avoid the darn details. However, Jon basically knew what Gane's game plan was and stayed a few steps ahead and anticipated his every move, essentially negating Gane's game plan. Jon's striking, fluidity, and reach stifled Gane, and then the wrestling was too much for him to stop. Easy win for the GOAT.

This literaly didnt happen. Spoken by a true fanboy perspective. Gane didnt even react to the pressure. He litarly let himself walk to the cage then threw way too little to keep jones away. Jones takedown was quick. When gane was down he couldt lock him cuz gane was defending himself by putting his chinon the chest which is the thing u do to evade a chokehold. He stood up by lifting his chin from the chest which u NEVER do was a huge rookie mistake. He did this by standing leaning slight forward which lets to the chin coming free from the chest and and neck applieable for a choke.. In every sport there exists a warrior spirit and in MMA the vulnerability of 1 on 1 competition is displayed in the raw. Every professional athlete looks up to the full performance that John Jones displayed and so do all sports fans. John Jones is on an all new level.

He said this tho? Everyone believes Stipe is the heavyweight GOAT but if Francis keeps going he could be and if he were to beat Jones he would be the GOAT absolutely. Also his Derrick Lewis was barely that and it was barely fight but I love how you haters love to bring stuff like that up that looks indefensible when you look at the context for 2 seconds

After defending against and beating Stipe(the HW 🐐) he should go back down to LHW, recapture that belt, defend it once and ride off in the sunset. That will virtually stand the rest of time. #Untouchable#

The thing with mma is that every one just gets so blown away with one performance, it's just a matter of styles win fights. Gane was outclassed in most of the areas. Stipe will humble Jon, not saying Jon won't or can't win, but it will not be a cake walk, be ready for a war

Since we hate Dana White for slapping his wife after he was assaulted first how about you read the police report the day Jones was inducted into the hall of fame Ariel. If that’s too much work for you I’ll give you the Cliff notes he beat his wife to a bloody mess in the hotel room the sheets were blood stained her lips and jacket were blood stained. They’re DAUGHTER asked the security guard to call the police bc her mom was too afraid to her words to the security guard was “How long do we have until he’s out”. Now let’s make a full show dedicated to a ACTUAL women beater or can you just finally state your hate and negativity towards Dana White and the UFC.

@@Satsuionly he's not praising jon as a person, he's praising him as a fighter, that's two different things. by your logic, dana should've stepped down or something since 'you never come back from hitting a woman' or whatever his actual quote was. i get your point, he could've talked about jon in totality, but this specific moment isn't the time for that. did he ignore when jones hit his fiance in 2021? if so, then your point makes sense
