My favourite movement was nick fury looking like an anime god when it just showd his face when he was blocking all the attacks 😂 it was funny. Wish we revisit this universe would like to see this unique team.
An easter egg everyone seemed to have missed: While Loki is giving his serious speech about taking vengeance for Thor's death, Fury's phone keeps going off which, if you squint, is a call-back to a similar scene in "Ant-Man and the Wasp" possibly giving the audience another extremely subtle hint
I personally liked how in this episode how “fury” doesn’t really move when blocking the hits because loki is so cocky he knows he can do it. For example in the first avengers movie he just catches Hawkeyes arrow without flinching or even looking towards the arrow
After Hulk explodes, They could have cut back to the green smoke fading away but they never did. So its actually more disturbing that they never cut back to it.
Hulk exploding into mist reminded me of the hulk dogs in the first hulk movie when he ripped them apart the exploded into mist. And Loki didn't say crown king of Asgard he said prince. Loved the reaction
To be fair, Hiddelston has more experience with voice work. I feel like the people in the first episode were not quite as experienced. Voice acting can actually be more difficult than regular acting
You made a big deal about the animation of Fury fighting. I assumed it was obvious that while fighting Hank Pym, his movements were deliberately minimal (like Neo when he realizes he's the one) to show us it's really Loki & how far superior he is at fighting.
No no, I specified it made sense with Fury. Was speaking generally with the fight scenes. Like how black widow moves. Fury wise that made more sense given the context of the scene
Voss is wrong, sorry. Loki introduces himself as the Crown Prince of Asgard, taking the same title as his late (adopted) brother. I'm guessing that (Thor 1) Odin is still awake and sent his surviving son to avenge Thor's murder. Loki just went as far as he could go with the opportunity he was given.
I can't believe hulk got taken out that easy, also I laughed that nick fury thinks captain marvel can take on ODIN let alone asgard, best episode so far, loving it
Captain Marvel is supposed to be the strongest Avenger, though I would argue that after Wandavision, the Scarlet Witch (and maybe Dr. Strange) might be in the running as well.
@@zachgamemaster3329 scarlett witch is the most powerful, but with muscle, in the Morden mcu, infinity war Thor is the strongest, the directors say otherwise but idrc what they say since they want me to believe endgame thor is all powerful , *actually a simple Google search even debunks this showing thor is stronger* *Asgardians only get stronger with age too* , *its not even close, and as for odin, well let's say he will play with his food before putting it out of its misery* , the odin force is one of the strongest things in marvel, captain marvel who?
@@theavastark6463 I honestly forgot that the Odin Force was a thing. We never really got a chance to see it in action, so it's up in the air on how powerful he would really be. My honestly opinion would be that he would at the very lest be on the same level as Carol, if not stronger. The reason I say Captain Marvel is the strongest (probably should have said most powerful) is that she single handedly stood up to Thanos where the others (aside from Wanda) struggled. Even the Hulk couldn't beat him and he pretty much could beat Thor if he wanted to. It could be that both ladies are super charged from Infinity Stones, but there is my opinion.
wdym Captain Marvel could definitely take on Odin she was way stronger than Thanos in endgame until he got ahold of the power stone and Thanos was gripping Thor’s head like a grape in the beginning of Infinity War
Greg needs to start writing episodes of The Simpsons with how predictive his sketch was 🤣 I’m sad Erik didn’t call out the clever Se7en reference when Fury asked “what’s in the box?” In that movie Gwyneth Paltrow’s character dies (basically Pepper Potts) but in this episode Tony Stark dies 👀 And Se7en is a movie about hunting down a serial killer, exactly what this episode is They also missed how at the end Captain Marvel asks “where’s the fight?” just like Bucky did in Infinity War when King T’Challa presented him with his new vibranium arm. “Where’s the fight?” “On it’s way.”
one little minor scene from the episode I enjoyed is when Coulson mentions he had to make a stop on the way, in reference to the One-Shot "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer"
Something I noticed, that Eric Voss forgot to mention, is Natasha saying ‘Move or you will be moved’ to Betty. Which is the same thing one of the Dora Milaje said to Natasha in Civil War.
A few fun theories on this episode's future... 1. Hulk didn't actually die but was incapacitated for a long time ( his healing factor slowly bringing him back ) Long enough for Hank to finish his mission and kill Fury. they just assume he is dead...like with Superman in the Doomsday fight. 2. Odin is going to wake from the odinsleep and be mad at Loki for trying to rule Midgard strip him of his title and power and force him to live on earth until he has a change of heart and becomes worthy. Then he lifts Mjolnir to become "Thoki" lol 3. Some how shield gets Hank's old Antman suit but holds onto it until Spider-man comes on the scene and they retrofit it to him. And instead of controlling ants he controls spiders. Will these happen? Maybe not. But it was fun coming up with them.
4:53 I would say that looks more like edward norton than marc in that shot, later in the episode its definitely marc but that still frame, cutting into a scene from the incredible hulk makes them look almost identical, hair style, build etc
Erik Voss, how could you forget the mention one obvious easter egg when Natasha told Betty Ross to 'Move or you'll be moved' reference to Civil War when Ayo told Natasha the same thing? 😅
It's funny, but in the final episode of what if, Natasha kicks Loki hard enough to knock him away. Captain America, an actual super-soldier, couldn't do that in the avengers. His punches barely phased Loki, but Loki got so weak physically that a human possessed by a female deviant could kick his ass.
One of my greatest wish right now is to react to something with both of you. So in the meantime, I'll do another fanart of you two. I appreciate your existences ;)
I'm actually more surprised that Loki didn't turn into his Jotun form when using the Casket of Ancient Winter and that he's quite comfortable saying "The rightful king of Jotunheim" in front of the whole Asgardian army.
I feel like them having Thor in the coffin was just for honor. I don’t think it was for the people necessarily, it was to honor who he would have been in the future I think
Still think it's totally believable that Voss figured out your contact details just from watching your videos, and he probably made the shift to reaction videos right after. This tactic of drastically enlarging the enemy's own inner anatomy on the other hand would work on anyone for one reason or another assuming they don't have the healing factor to counteract it like Wolverine, Deadpool, or comic book Hulk to list a few well known examples.
Natasha is overall a much better fighter, given that she is pretty much canonically meant to be the best h2h combatant in the MCU before Shang-Chi, than Hope is without her tech so its not implausible that the Winter Soldier, who is the world's deadliest assassin, would be capable of killing her.
I don't think Hope has the Wasp suit in this universe since I doubt she got Hank's permission to join SHIELD. She might have been just an agent like Natasha.
