Something that nobody seems to be talking about is that nat says “what if his name was steve” suggesting she knows about that and that peggy talked about her life before she was brought to the future with nat. But in the main mcu nat asked steve who the woman in the picture was suggesting she didn’t know a lot about steve in the past. Just shows why peggy and nat seem to be closer in this period of time in comparison to steve and nat.
@@SamMito28 good as Cap was, he is a man born in 1918. He endured the Great Depression and the suffering of World War II. Those guys were not famously forthcoming about their feelings, or their experiences, choosing to be stoic and simply endure things. My parents were slightly younger, but from that same generation ( born 1922 and 1927) and the stoicism of the men juxtaposed with the sharing of the women was something I saw clearly growing up. Fairly good characterization, really. Modern media will all too often make pieces set in the past, but with characters whose personalities make them modern people playing dress up. It's jarring when you hear them say things that no one from the era ever would have. They got it right here though.
It is still weird to me how main timeline Natasha Romanoff, agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. does not know who Peggy Carter is or even, as shown in _Endgame_ who Red Skull is (and Hawkeye didn't know either!)
the watcher is us, the fans. DC and Marvel have histories or making godlike beings that are meants to represent both the fans and the writers alike. im willing to bet the watcher was created, especially the concept of the What if? comics and other one shots, were made as fan service. because everything about the watcher is what a marvel fan is. if they didnt create the watcher for that exact reason, then they missed a big opportunity.
Wow, I was expecting New Rcokstars to mention the foreshadowing Easter egg with Killmonger’s fate(maybe they figured it was minor…or missed it). When the watcher is recruiting everyone early on, we see Pepper and Shuri run into the now empty room where Killmonger had previously been. At the time it just feels like part of showing him taking all these heroes. But at the end, he returns everyone to the moment they left as though they were never gone, so the scene was actually foreshadowing that Killmonger wouldn’t be returning from where the watcher took him like everyone else. 🤔🤯
I’ve noticed that each marvel project has payed tribute to Stan Lee as if his Watcher Died in the continuity of the multiverse and people who are aware of his characters in the events of their stories. Maybe The watcher in the what if series can make cameos in movies in tribute to him.
Doctor strange has been my fave since his first movie came out and i always saw how underrated he was and how much ppl didnt care for that movie but now he is getting the attention he deserves and my heart is HAPPY

While Voss is pretty compelling with his theories most of the time, I do think he gets ahead of himself sometimes. Like when he compared the golden glow of Wanda's vision of the future to the whirlwind of stuff outside the dimensional pub...it just seemed like a stretch. Wanda's vision was gold because it appeared when she touched the Mind Stone, a golden Infinity Stone.
One detail really bugs me, though. Why did Ultron leave a bunch of sentries on Party Thor's world, and then peace out? Or didn't he? I'm confused, wouldn't he have just destroyed that planet the way he did all the others?
If you remember, when Ultron discovered there are worlds beyond earth in episode 8, he went about destroying them by using the Sentries. Doesn't make much sense, but that's what he's been doing from the start.

Loki is literally the only reason why What if is happening! The watcher is telling us the stories but before Sylvie killed He who remains there was only the sacred timeline. Only after she unleashed the Multiverse did the Watcher have different stories to tell!
Would loved to see Widow at the end be taken to the Funeral for Tony and watch it with the watcher from the other side of the lake and told to take it slow joining them again. This would explain not seeing her for a few years when she helps out down the line.
I totally agree with what Greg said about doctor strange I hope he becomes important bc I’ve been a huge doctor strange fan since I found out about him in the comics (and my guy Rentrah) so it’ll be cool to see them keep building his character emotionally and in terms of magical ability and I believe he’ll end up becoming one of the most powerful people in marvel for these upcoming phases(especially if he’s gonna have to compete with Wanda😏) and I can’t wait to seem him bounce off of people like the F4
As much as I love Erik's videos, I don't really like this dismissal of there being COVID complications. Being an animator is hard especially during a pandemic and sometimes stuff comes up and things need to be changed. Trying to label it as the creators just putting it off really undermines what could have possibly been a genuine issue in the studio. Yeah, you can animate from home, but for a show as high production and professional as Marvel, it likely is a challenge. I think we should just respect and be mindful of the fact that they were at least transparent enough to tell the audience what happened.
This. I'm not an animator but I know it's hard work. Into The Spiderverse took months and that's one movie. This is a series with 9 episodes 30 minutes each!
Yeah I concur, it’s not like “What If…” was even the only Marvel Disney+ show that had to be altered due to COVID (WandaVision famously had that happen). It seems a little inconsiderate towards animators. Still, if the Wolverine theory is true, that’d be crazy
@@mr.moviemafia falcon and winter soldier reportedly alao had some changes made because of covid... and in Loki there were barely any extras in the background of scenes probably also because of that.
But they got Chadwick boseman's dialogue in before he died in August 2020 that's a whole year before the finale!! I get the animation takes time especially during covid but I think that gamora episode might be intentionally cut 🤷🏻♂️
@@architgoel983 I read somewhere that Chadwick was one of the first ones that agreed to voice their character. It doesn't mean that everyone were on board at the same time. Bottom line is, delay due to Covid is not bullshit and is a legit reason. Erik should have been more respectful and not just dismiss it as a reason. He's not an animator. He's not Kevin Feige who knows ALL that happened behind the scenes. It's ok to speculate but the way he said it undermines the possible real concern (by real hard-working people) why it's delayed especially when other projects were also delayed. Hell, even some anime series were delayed in Japan due to Covid and their animation industry is one if not the most highly demanded products. It's not what you say, it's HOW you say it. Calling it bullshit just made him sound like an entitled douchebag, to me at least.
The Wolverine thing kind of feels like pure speculation to me. Why would the writers have included Wolverine into the episode if they know that the X-men have yet to make their appearance in the MCU? I don't think such a big oversight would have occurred this far into production. The only possibility is that the X-men reveal was meant to happen in one of the delayed Marvel movies. This would leave Eternals, Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness, and Spider-Man: No Way Home which were all originally scheduled to have been released by July 2021. I doubt the Eternals would introduce it since it is already introducing new characters, and Spider-Man is already packed full of crossovers as it is. This would probably leave Doctor Strange as the only viable option where the X-men could possibly be introduced. Personally I do think it is just Covid reasons. I don't think it is as easy to simply just work from home when it comes to the animation industry. The second season of Love, Death and Robots was also shortened by half because of it.
It's also worth remembering just how long it takes to make animated shows. This show started airing a full year after Chadwick Boseman's death. and he had recorded his lines many months before that. and it would have been months or even a year or two before it even got to that point. alot can happen in the span of 3-4 years.
What If definitely has the biggest effect on the MCU going forward... If it wasn't for the Guardians of the Multiverse defeating Ultron, there would be NO multiverse, no life. Every single character we know in the MCU would be dead, as would every character we've yet to meet. It's crazy to think about, but any movie or series you see in the MCU from now on, you can thank this episode and these characters for allowing it to exist.
Since the first Zombies to come out were Captain America, Falcon and Hawkeye, I think that Doctor Strange brought all of them before they died which means some the characters that died are still alive and that world is now zombie free
I wonder if that hum killmonger heard coming from the head is the same sound tchalla heard from his ring while trying trying keep bucky from escaping in civil war

Not sure if I need more time in the episodes, because I am treating them as cartoon episodes not as movies themselves. As Greg does say later, they are animated and feel more like comics. That line from Thor at the pub just got me thinking how meta this is. Maybe, just maybe, it is absolutely intentional that the audiences get confused by the several events that could mess up with the multiverse, maybe this is the plan from Marvel since Wandavision. We need to get confused, just to be surprised by the Multiverse Of Madness.
The What If comics were never long enough to do much with their premises either, so making the episodes too short is, if anything, being faithful to the source material! :D
I loved the show and enjoyed a lot watching it, but here is one thing that got me thinking: if Peggy Carter traveled in time-space to 2012, how S.H.I.E.L.D. was created? We know by the Agent Carter show how pivotal she was for the starting of Shield, and I really hope that the producers could address that in the second season, maybe also during the explaining for how Steve Rogers survived and maybe became Winter Soldier..
Did you know that Rick and Morty sister we're on we're on lamentous one when it when it was becoming becoming an Apocalypse during their Apocalypse crawl episode I forgot what episode number it was but they were there when the logies were trying to find their way out they're way out just parting their asses off
Eric Voss missed an obvious clue in the breakdown. The universe at the end widow is sent to is the one where all the avengers were taken out by pym. The captains fighting Asgardians is the giveaway and this final episode is a sequel to every episode this season
19:05 Vultron is just much more powerful than Wanda, her hit annoyed him at most and its a stretch to claim that Wanda recognized Vision through the helmet. 20:40 Natasha and Steve are absolutely best friends. Even the Russos claimed that they were very much had a brother and sister relationship. The pre-established relationship between Nat and Steve is what really helps make Nat and Peggy's relationship so good as well since they share very similar chemistry.

I just want to leave this random comment but I don't think strange supreme is in the movie, Doctor strange sure but strange supreme no. Maybe, just maybe, it is absolutely intentional that the audiences get confused by the several events that could mess up with the multiverse, maybe this is the plan from Marvel since Wandavision. We need to get confused, just to be surprised by the Multiverse Of Madness.
There was a rumor that episode was moved because part of it was too close to a potential Guardians 3 script that Gunn Was working on.
The What If comics were never long enough to do much with their premises either, so making the episodes too short is, if anything, being faithful to the source material! :D
Wish wolverine, daredevil and blade wer part of this group
I would gladly watch an episode with no dialogue. It could be really good if done well. Great idea, John!
Wow, I was about to do homework yet again when you uploaded
The Tradition Continues...
I expected Rockstars to point out that they are struggling over 5 of the infinity stones - the Mind Stone never leaves the Vision-body's head.
You seem happy.
I think its time to react to Squid Game ep 7
ultron says "all to easy" like vader did in empire strikes back
i would like to see strange supreme in dr strange 2
You guys should definitely react to Midnight Mass
I need ur hat!! The colors!!! 🔥🔥🔥
You gotta watch these episodes like at least twice
Have anyone noticed Ultron's eyes glowing white when Peggy opened his helmet?
When Killmonger powers up, it reminds me of Dragonball Z power ups. It makes sense considering how much of a DB fan Michael B. Jordan is.
I love that moment.
Maybe , the reason the watcher didn’t see ultron coming was due to the multiverse breaking from loki
But could Infinity Ultron beat Zamasu though
Agatha is confirmed to be getting her own show!
Really? I haven't heard that yet. Is it definitely confirmed? Might go Google that after this video.
Did you know that Rick and Morty sister we're on we're on lamentous one when it when it was becoming becoming an Apocalypse during their Apocalypse crawl episode I forgot what episode number it was but they were there when the logies were trying to find their way out they're way out just parting their asses off
dissapointed yall havent reacted to the House Of Dragons trailer yet... love u guys tho
So even Erik Voss found the idea of "Infinity Stones work across universes, but Infinity Crushers don't" to be stupid
Eric Voss missed an obvious clue in the breakdown. The universe at the end widow is sent to is the one where all the avengers were taken out by pym. The captains fighting Asgardians is the giveaway and this final episode is a sequel to every episode this season
He didn't miss it; he mentions it at 26:25 in the video.
@@empire539exe must have missed that thanks
This series is better then some films marvel is Killin it DC gotta step up
You guys should react to new the eternals spots “Team“ and “Protect”. You guys are great btw😁😁😁
Nat and Peggy are closer
I sure "Hope" we'll get an @BradleyCut. 🥰
Looking forward to white Blade next season
since this marvel animated series is over, u can watch avengers assemble, its really good
I’m being so DISTRACTED with trying to figure out WTF y’all chairs say bruh I can’t figure it out 🤣
hey reel rejects great reaction video👏👏👍👍you guys are the best🤟😎😎🤟and erik voss/mt did a Amazing and a good job finding all the hidding easter eggs and missble details in all the episodes of the marvelstudios show what if..?🧐👌and❤love you reel rejects❤ have a good day/night and enjoy the rest of the week💪😎☀️🤙 greetings and love from the netherlands❤🇳🇱❤
I just want to leave this random comment but I don't think strange supreme is in the movie, Doctor strange sure but strange supreme no. And all the reason why I say that is because of "what if", see his episode I thought he was a low-key villain but not a villain but sort of a villain, evil doctor strange some could say LOL but after him being the goat and the final episode of what if now he's technically a good guy to me, and I don't think a guardian of the multiverse is going to all of a sudden be the villain into Spider-Man movie 🤷🏽♂️
Wolverine isnt the only person in Marvel who uses claws
Imagine captain Carter and captain America side by side, bro... Marvel you missed an opportunity here
Lol @ white blade
why are the ultron robots so easy to take down, if there vibranium lmao
Dr. Strange 3 will be Dr. Srange Illuminati???
Id say Tchalla and killmongers spells wit the suns are a nod to the sunset they watch. Not just their African roots.
I'm really surprised Ultron didn't gather the other Infinity Stones from the other universes he'd already destroyed
What would be the point? They cancel each other out
@@zacharyjackson1829 if used on each other. He could give more to drones to spread his focus to more universes
First dam this is such a honor
