Lovely start to the Pike season. What a bonus having a tank engine running by . It's been a slow start for me so far as I'm on new club waters. Best of luck with the piking ahead.
Yeah, I love new waters but they usually take some exploring and trial and error at first. It's the same for me on the trout water. Keep at it, it'll come good. Best of luck to you too mate 🙂
Many years ago I had a cormorant pick up a dead bait I managed to get it to the bank and untangle it , where upon it seemed to suffer a heart attack! 😢
I was getting the same last year but thankfully avoided hooking one. There doesn't seem to be as many on this year. They don't half give you a good run! 😉
As the water chills down, the bait fish are gonna ball up in the deeper holes... find them and you find the pike... 😈 Nice video, mate... A sub and a like from this irish angler...🤗 😎👍☘️🍺
Yes buddy, there's a couple of deep corners where the bait fish and fry shoal up and the predators have a right good feast. The pike and perch in the water and the birds from above. Thanks for the sub and tight lines mate 🙂
