It’s more of a hulk situation. Bruce is always scared, but he kicks ass while scared anyways, so it’s not that much different if it’s drug induced or just his own trauma that he’s healing.

First injection showed that he’s afraid of Joker taking over. Second injection actually is for Joker in Batman’s body showed that he’s actually afraid of Batman all along. Because Bruce already faced his fear, the following injection did nothing to him.

I always wondered what we're actually fighting in the game, because Crane by hinself without any gases or needles is just a nerdy ex doctor who wouldn't stand a chance against anyone. I feel like Scarecrow shouldn't have even been a playable character in Injustice.

@@EnderTheGal well you don't seem to recall details from the arkham games yourself. there's a voiceline in arkham asylum that refers to bruce wayne as having "a classic case of split personality if I ever saw one". I think you missed the whole point of knight's ending:
When Batman's first injected with toxin, he experiences fears of joker taking over. Those fears bring out the joker in him, which we see happen over the course of the game. When joker (batman) is injected again, we see joker's fears of being forgotten. He loses in a battle with batman, as always, and batman's joker personality is beaten for good. Now with nothing left to be scared of, he's saved the city and conquered the joker within, batman takes over for one final time and scarecrow's toxin is ineffective against Batman. Batman defeats scarecrow and now that bruce wayne is exposed, he fakes his death and the batman dies. from the ashes of batman, the nightmare rises.

This game still amazes me with the depth that it had. It showed how batman basically has two people living in his head. 1. Bruce Wayne with fears like a normal human, and 2. Batman with NO fear. When the Bruce Wayne personality got overwhelmed with fear toxin and died, only batman was left. Batman with no fear was immune to the toxin. Scarecrow was astonished as to how a mere human could suddenly overcome fear not knowing batman has personality disorder and so scarecrow right then and there developed a fear of batman making him susceptible to his own fear toxin.

I think the Aspekt of him "getting humanized" is a nerve relief as all humans can be killed and the unknown is sometimes scarier as the imagination runs wild..
But on the same token, knowing he's human removes the 'fear of unknown' from the criminals.
Because some speculate that Batman is a mythical creature/monster that plagues Gotham. Knowing he's a man removes that fear, because he doesn't have magic or isn't some supernatural entity.
Granted, he's still scary of what he can do to you, but he's not mysterious anymore.
