Rising Zan has quite possibly the greatest theme song of any hero ever. Johnny no more indeed.
Another awesome PS1 hidden gem video TRB! Retro Force, Remote Control Dandy, and Rakugaki Showtime look like bangers. Some other possible hidden gems are the frantic puzzle/fighter Rat Attack!, the action/platformer via airboarding Reboot, the weird and wacky light gun shooter Rescue Shot Bubibo, and the top/down racer Rush Hour by Psynosis.

It hadn't heard of Remote Control Dandy but it turns out it's related to another great game called Robot Alchemic Drive on the PS2, which I didn't know was a sequel!
I’ll have to keep that in mind if I do this sort of thing for the ps2 👌

For the T letter check out for Terracon. I've played it a few weeks ago and it's really good.
Edit: iirc Rogue trip it's like a spiritual sequel of the twisted metal gsmes because it was made by the original team behind the first two games of that franchise.

Rising Zan Samurai Gunman looks like a pretty cool game. Reminds me of Samurai Western for the PS2.
Ronin blade looked interesting, surprised it was from Konami.

Capcom and Konami were always trying to blatantly copy and outdo each other back in the day. Ronin Blade was Konami's answer to the Resident Evil games. Didn't do as well though nor was it as polished a game.
@@PythonerAnd in turn Capcom copied Konami and made Onimusha which borrowed so much from this game

Mmmm by the time rogue trip was out twisted metal 1 and 2 were out and 3 came 1 month after rogue trip, so they were a thing.
Oh really. I could have swore I read it was before. Fair enough. Would explain why it’s more polished than you’d expect for the first game of its kind.
The development team "Single Trac" made TM 1 & 2, then had a falling out with Sony, so they went off on their own to develop Rogue Trip while 989 Studios worked on Twisted Metal III. That's why Rogue Trip has more OG TM DNA than TM 3 or 4.
Thinking I'd not seen Retro Force before, ah EU only release heh. Rakugaki Showtime really should have come out worldwide, there's not much to localize. Picked up Running Wild for a few dollars ages ago, I should fire it up sometime.🙂
What's weird about Robin Hood is it looks like it could have been much better with just a little more effort, full ass instead of half-assed. Looks really easy to step on yourself in RC:Dandy, the collateral damage penalty is funny though. I think that's just par for the coarse with flight sim type games, actually is hard operate the real thing.😉
It has become a cult favorite but I've yet to try Zan out despite glowing accounts. I noticed that too about Ronin, it really doesn't telegraph where to go at all. 🤨Rollcage looks really good, I forgot there was a PS1 version and well done at that. I think Rouge Trip has excellent graphics, so many of the first PS1 titles have aged horribly.🤔
