Great video ... just some info want to share ....phase 4 of the nodal action potential is due to funny current which consist of Ia type of calcium channel and slow sodium channel(not voltage gated but Beta1 receptor Gs stimulated) and the phase 0 is due to Ltype of calcium channel and phase 4 is due to FEWER inward rectifier k channel that is why in nodal cell potential is never less than -60mv ... if SA and AV node fails like in posterior wall MI (bundle of his)paces the heart at the rate of 25 -40 beats per min ...... AV node is mainly responsible for the refractory phase or delay in the conduction of action potential 100msec delay as his purkinje system has the fastest conduction speed and to why SA node is the pacemaker not AV node as AV node is also in the interatrial septum because it has a slower phase 4 than SA node by the time it reaches its threshold the impulse from SA node comes and depolarize it ...... again a great video nice and simple explanation ......

Ma'am incase of non nodal, action potential goes from -90mV to +40mV so does that mean force of contraction will higher in this case?
No, action potential has nothing to do with force of contraction.It just send message to muscles to provoke a response.
The force generated by a muscle depends on the number of actin
and myosin cross-bridges formed, a larger number of cross-bridges results in a larger amount of force.

Yes in some books they have not specified nodal and non nodal action potential but if you go into the detail, you will find the difference.

Ma'am in KDT it is written 'with considerable overshoot (+30 mv)' in Non-Nodal..you have written +40 mv....which we shuld consider ?
These are not the exact values. You can consider them as a range. Maximum time it is 40mv but some time it can be any digit between 30 to 40 mv.
