I love Jelly Roll, but my controversial opinion is that any time I can watch and listen to Lainey Wilson, I'll jump at the chance. Lainey was a country star before she appeared on Yellowstone, and the producers liked her so much that they wrote a special role for her just to get her on the show. And btw, if you haven't reacted to Hardy and Lainey doing "Wait in the Truck," the official video is a stunner. You two are great together and I truly enjoy what you're doing, so thank you.
Jelly Roll is proof that people who have a bad start in life can turn their life around and do great things. Love Lainey Wilson she is awesome but I have to agree I love it with Jelly Roll by himself it’s his song and goes more of how his life is and so it needs to be just him. Good to hear you give your true feelings about how you want to hear the song and that’s great that you give your thoughts, your true thoughts many others don’t do that so thanks for your true thoughts about the performance.
Thank you guys for checking out Jelly Roll he’s gotten really popular this last year the venues he’s selling out are massive. His album Whitsitt Chapel, specially the songs Halfway to Hell and Church are really well done really brings you back to that old church on the hill with not a lot of ppl just praising the lord on a sunday.
Hey Dave, I highly recommend Jelly Rolls performance with Craig Morgan on the song “Almost home”. I know you said you like story telling so I’m sure you’ll love this song. Big fan!
Please do with Wait in the Truck Hardy featuring Lanie Wilson. The official video is a must. It's more Outlaw Country and probably one of the most controversial songs/ videos.
This song fits me way too well. I've been an absolute mess since I retired from the USN. I've dealt with issues with drinking and now that Marijuana is legal in my state it has the potential of being just one more escape route (which in reality just one more added problem). I'm dealing with PTSD anxiety and depression every day. More than once my guardian angel has worked overtime because there have been more than a few times these past couple years where I came way to close to doing what the insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan could not.
I've saw both versions, with and without Lainey Wilson. So much better with her. I' ve got so much more feelings if they sing together. But that's just what I feel. That' s why it' s great that there are 2 versions! For everyone something!
This song is kinda genre-less and that’s a special thing. You nailed the point that an authentic performer/performance will always receive attention from a much broader group of people. Just FYI, The Warning just “unofficially” released 2 new songs that should be officially released in the near future (Sick and Hell You Call A Dream). We all know Ash loves them…J.S.????
Show her Chris Cornell cover of nothing compares to u... then do his cover of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean on a channel called Bruno F. M., he blows both of these songs out of the water
IMO, the ONLY reason that they sang the song together, was for the Awards Show. Neither He nor She asked the other to do it and then they did the awards show. The Awards Show Producers did it to fill the time slot of the show. The song was great. Don't get me wrong. But if we wanted them to sing together, we would have been called crazy. The Award Show is the ONLY reason that happened.

He did say that. That is why I am here🎉🎉🎉
I prefer the one on his own as well. It feels more emotional and I like that.
You should check out Lainey immediately after this singing Grease. As my sister would say, "she's hitter than donut grease". Jellyroll is great too.
I love both of these dinners but this is Jelly's song and his solo version is so much better. He poured his soul out in this song.

I love the original over this version. Something about Jelly's voice and inflection in the verse you can't take away.

Her and Hardy is a great duet that you should consider reacting to. It’s called Wait in the Truck.
Jelly Roll - Angels and Demons
We all would want you to continue to be your authentic self! Great reaction! ☮️❤️😎
I love ash she is always 100 percent honest and her smile when she’s into is infectious. You should only do reactions with her bub
You would really like Hardy ft. Lainey Wilson wait in the truck

You should listen to wait in the truck with her and Hardy
Lainey is different. So authentic
This is a nice version and they did an amazing job, but I'm team original version too.
I agree 👍

@Dave, I'm pretty much now just watching these for Ash...I'm in love with Ash 😆
I Am Ash could pull off Lainey Wilson's fashion style, definitely the hats

The one with lainey is better
I like the original as well

Please react to his performance of Almost Home with Craig Morgan. 🤞
I agree with you darlin!!!

I prefer the original also and I'm country and from texas. 😂
I love jelly but I like lainey with him
I also prefer the orginal
All I'm going to say is why😮
It's way better with her. And she's an incredible talent. I hear Dolly Parton in her voice
I agree, Lainey Wilson singing this was more over the top and felt "performative" you could almost say, and attention grabbing, for such a sober song.
