Sir Roger is renowned for his groundbreaking work in general relativity, quantum theory, consciousness studies and more. Along with Stephen Hawking, he famously theorized that spacetime singularities exist at the heart of black holes.
In this keynote, Sir Roger traces his winding journey of discoveries that ultimately led him to formulate the ‘Orch OR’ theory. He argues that consciousness arises from the strange effects of quantum mechanics within structures inside neurons.

It was startling and heartwarming to hear the great ovation that the audience gave Sir Roger the moment his image appeared. And that is because of not only his extraordinary mind and his ability to explain complex themes, but also his humility and pleasant demeanor. The man doesn't have one gram of pretentiousness about him. He is a unique treasure in this otherwise drab and so fake world we have right now.

What experiments have been done with consciousness and quantum mechanics and with respect to gravity, etc.
These body attraction experiments were conducted by your mom and pop, as microtubules used their dna to construct your brain.
The digital computer model of life, that a 1 and zero switch when built up in complexity allows consciousness to emerge, lacks dimension like flat earth perspective. Each cell in the body contains the hardware and software to build itself up from its fractal quantum volition architecture.

So, just to be clear, Roger's view is a very physicalist view, and woo woo crowd should stop sighting him for their anti-physicalist views. Woo crowd likes to intentionally misinterpret his view in their favor and use his standing as a Nobel prize winner.
1. Consciousness causes (and is required to) collapse of wave function
These two views are only contradictory in regards to a 1 person perspective. Add mutiple point of perspective (aka a shared space/reality), and your exercising of free will... that collapsed the wavefunction... could be performed by other(s). Roger says gravity collapses the wavefunction, which is in no way different to an outside actor in shared space. It is our 'shared space' that we refer to as spacetime, rather than the inner private space.
Try this experiment:- MY head, my mind, my body, my eyes, my thoughts, my personality. Who is saying 'My'?
