Pokemon has released one of the best Meta Decks as an ex Battle Deck! Chien-Pao ex has lots of potential in the current Standard Format, with it being able to OHKO every other Pokemon in the Meta!
These entry level decks (Level 1) are meant for beginners to get use to Pokemon TCG, so it's best to avoid spending too much when you first start out. We still want to make them competitive, so hopefully these tips help you out!

Nice deck! I’m too much of a beginner to run low energy, but Shadow Rider Calyrex VMax is good for getting those draws and attaching energy.

I recently bought this deck to learn the game with my friend (he got the chien pao deck) and he totally wiped the floor with me 😅 we had the same observations, not enough card draw!

24:11 That refinement was your life saver, you had enough cards and 2 boss orders, they would not be able to Iono you in any way thanks to milotic, the also couldn't OHKO your new Tinkaton, it was game from this point imo
A little slow beginning but ultimately that was savage.
I really think this deck should be fine with 2 ralts/kirlia, this battle you mostly discarded them and you probably wont have more then 2 on your bench anyway with all these other pokemon
Probably, but having more chances to set them up seems nice for me.

Hmm... Maybe some of the Pokeballs, since they do the same thing, but only on the first turn.

Hey, would you do an upgrade about the deoxys v deck, with upgrade and stuff?

Unfortunately, it's a bit dated with the upgrades, but I would just swap in cards like Quick Ball and Marnie for Nest Ball and Iono.
Hey, ive upgraded this plus Chein-Pao and Amphoros battle decks as per your advice in your videos, and have been playing them against each other, they all are fun to play, this deck seems to only have Tinkaton EX as a big hitter able to KO anything, am i missing any other worthwhile attackers?, or do i need to put more copys of tinkaton ex in the deck and easier ways to find it?, is load of draw support but if one tinkaton ex is prized or i just keep not drawing it its tough todo anything else to get prizes.
Tinkaton ex is the best attacker in this deck. There are not many other Pokemon that rely on large hand count for attacks. You could experiment with other Pokemon like Luxury to KO Lugia easily.
hello how would i go on about getting these cards in the game (pokemon tcg live) is there a way to get them i am able to spend money but dont know wher i can do so. because i managed to buy the battle pack thing but dont know where to get the cards for the upgraded deck. thanks in advance

That is correct. It does not come with Non-ex Tinkaton. You need to add them in instead, like I did for this upgrade.

Shadow Rider adds more draw while accelerating energy.

I think I find the answer some cards like Galarian Slowking you will get 3 cards once you knocked it out , I happen to knocked it out in my last game in tcg live thanks sir Joji!!!
Oh, that's what you meant. Yes, some Pokemon, like VMAX Pokemon are worth 3 Prizes
