Jesse Rogers basically tried to make these dudes famous. Total idiot behavior by the two dudes in right field and by Jesse who lost all credibility along with ESPN
Running into the field results in a lifetime ban, but you think wrestling and potentially hurting a player should not? Come on now… I applaud Scott for having the common sense and standing up for it
We are glorifying an assault..... what we watched on live TV wasn't interference it was an assault on mookie betts. If somehow mookies shoulder or arm was injured in that what would be talking about right now
assault, lost your mind dude. they were trying to rip the ball out of his glove. assault has a definition, you should look it up. do I think they should be banned from the stadium, I honestly wouldn't have a problem with it. but assault/arrested, that's absolutely insane.
@@joesaiditstruean act, criminal or tortious, that threatens physical harm to a person, whether or not actual harm is done. Aka holding down mookies arm not letting him go and his jackass friend holding down his right arm to not let it go.... there you go buddy
So is a defensive end trying to rip a ball out of a qb’s hand to the point he’s dragging the quarterback with the ball assault because the quarterback could also get hurt here.
AJ made sensible comments. Jesse Rogers lost credibility with me. ESPN makes another "great hire". No wonder ESPN isn't the "Sports Leader". Those two fans ought to be banned for life from any MLB event. Period!!!
How far does it have to go before a lifetime ban is appropriate? And doesn't the fact that this was "pre meditated " add to the weight of the situation?
the crazy thing is that there are human beings defending this. it's not soft to say they should be banned for life. if anything, these dudes are soft b/c many others who are actually strong would've broken an arm or wrist. we would've had a big lawsuit in that case
What those fans did is absolutely indefensible. You cannot intentionally, much less maliciously, touch the ball players. We need to ensure the safety of the players, and if the Yankees and/or MLB don't set an example, the line between spectator and active participant could become even more blurred. I hope Manfred comes out strong and reminds people that this type of behavior will be met with severe consequences, including imprisonment.
Big fan. I watch usually the clips on instagram and TH-cam every day. As a father of a 10-year old little leaguer , wanted to throw out the idea for the off season shows: maybe doing a 10 minute section most days where you guys or guests talk about hitting, advice, swing thoughts, approach, etc. It would be great content for parents and yung fans during the slow months of the offseason. Love when mlb network does stuff like that and ig hitting coach accounts are very popular with thousands of dads lol. Just a thought
That old saying...It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt... Jesse thought it was funny...enough said. Example needs to be set or will be another instance in future. If Betts was a little taller or had longer arms, he could have hyper extended his elbow. Or if the guys were stronger and pulled his glove/hand up to straighten his arm and pull back.. I think close call. I understand the frenzy of getting a ball, but not understanding it's wrong to grab a player to force open a glove opens up other questions like what else did these guys do illegally as their rational doesn't make sense.
We all know if dodger fans did that the media would be putting us on blast buuuuut if it’s a yankee fan it’s cute and let’s give excuses for him. F the media what a joke
I think he should be banned for the remainder of the playoffs and the 2025 season and lose his season ticket spot in the process. He or they can reapply for season tickets in 2026.
It's disgusting and give us fans a bad name and they should be banned for life and in any other league an example would be made jnstead of laughing and making jokes about it!!!
Jesse Rogers basically tried to make these dudes famous. Total idiot behavior by the two dudes in right field and by Jesse who lost all credibility along with ESPN
He’s just like those Yankees fans.
Yeah, idk why they are interviewing this idiot. He was propping these guys up like heroes at first.
Espn ever have credibility?
@@anubizz3 back in the 90s, but not for a while now
It was assault. a 5 year ban at a minimum. The thing that seems lost on everybody, is that he is an adult. Nonsense
Yeah. Banned from one game - ridiculous!

thy should have been arrested and at least banned for a year

@chibuezeezike5372 you're comparing two fans in the stands to a defensive end in the actual game that gets paid to tackle the quarterback?
Jomboy and his friends laughing and cheering for those clowns was disgusting. Shame on them and Jesse Rogers.
I talk studios exposed jomboy his channel is going down hill now
J.R defending these two Italian meatballs is downright disgusting. Mookie was borderline assaulted and he's acting like they did nothing wrong.
He thought it was hilarious, what a douche.
AJ made sensible comments. Jesse Rogers lost credibility with me. ESPN makes another "great hire". No wonder ESPN isn't the "Sports Leader". Those two fans ought to be banned for life from any MLB event. Period!!!
He doesn't understand the magnitude? Then call a spade a spade. Stupid is as stupid does.
That wasn't interference it was assault...

If hes so worried about his tickets maybe he shouldn't have committed a fan interference
Glorifying morons for doing dangerous moronic things for profit is so perverted
If the guy doesn't understand how it affects the player (Mookie), then he's a sociopath.
Those fans are idiots . They aren’t helping the team . I bet no player on the team looks at it as helping the team . They don’t want to win like that
Please stop calling him lovable. Hes just a meathead.
Security at the stadium is tight which is the right thing, but the Yankees had to be told to ban him from game 5?
now imagine if a dodger fan did this

no Jesse, it was not hilarious
We see the trouble with fandom and tribalism through this incident

He could have caught the ball or knocked the ball away from Betts BEFORE he caught it as long as he didn’t cross over the wall.

Never like Jesse Roger's when he at 670 score.
Better hope the Yankees don't go for a foul ball in LA.
I think he should be banned for the remainder of the playoffs and the 2025 season and lose his season ticket spot in the process. He or they can reapply for season tickets in 2026.
you forgot to include "loveable" in the title
At least ban them one season. They deserved that.
Judge is lucky it didn't go to game 6.
