I think the flathead screws are a strategic choice. It's a combat firearm and a flathead can always be loosened with a knife when in a pinch, the hex screws are very difficult to loosen or fasten without the correct tools. But for normal use they are superior like you said.
I got a original inox 95 yr made for 650 in original box and outer box all paper work never fired 100% with factory night sights (dead now ) . I’ve had newer inox and I can tell you the original was the best . No warnings on slide and frame , all stainless parts including stainless locking block . Only non stainless part is the rear sight and the aluminum frame . They only went to two tone look because they got cheap and want you to buy the parts after you purchase but still pay full price . This is not only beretta . Once polymer guns became popular by mid late 90s smith beretta sig etc started making cheaper versions of their products . Smith 3rd gen is a prime example . They peaked in 88-89 then every year they changed parts with black mim to cut cost to them . I love beretta for it’s a sin to pay full price and they give you plastic trigger and guide rod and possibly a decocker And not lower the price and expect the customer to upgrade what was standard years before . Our society just accepts this , just like ring your own groceries corporations give you less but charge you more .
Yes it is harder to get the Italian made Inox in the US. On top of that it is even harder if you live in a state that has magazine capacity restrictions on new guns to 10 rounds. So if you live in a state like that and have to register your firearms and you want a brand new 10 Round 92FS Inox made in Italy that is NOT the CA compliant variant, you might have to do some digging at your individual local gun stores which do not always list the exact model number on the website. Or you can check ones that can ship to an FFL in your state. But agreeing with your opinion, it is worth it. Especially since Beretta is talking more seriously and officially about cutting production of the Inox very very soon. The pre 2000s ones will always be more valuable if in good condition, but I think with the news of the discontinuation, any 92FS Inox especially made in Italy will be a collectors item in a couple decades I believe adamently.
They are better made than the USA version. Gun dealer friend got 20 of them in stock girlfriend and I bought each I went back and bought 3 more. We got to pick out the best . The ones we picked were beautiful blue ones with no wear on them.😊😊😊😊😊
well sir you have a solid pair making such a bold and controversial statement like that. In the American gun market , "made in the USA" is the main selling point for most gun manufacturers .
I stand behind what I say "Made in the USA" wont cut it anymore if its an inferior product - I want my stuff to be high quality for the money I pay and if that means its made somewhere else than the USA, so be it we should instead be looking at why its not feasible to have both high quality and affordable things made in the USA, and that is largely regulation, taxes, and too much government intervention making it uncompetitive to do business in the USA - that is the real problem here
The quality of the Italian made one's is superior to the American made ones, I'm not just saying that because my grandparents were from Castlevetrano, it truly is.
I have not heard of any durability or reliability test comparing US and Italian made Berettas. Such that quality control in manufacturing is different. Please post information if they are different.
I once had a 92X Performance, that was a heavy gun, it weighed in at 48oz. My daughters gun looks very nice! Don't care for the hammer though, they didn't give the hammer style. Lol. See you guys soon.
GREAT VIDEO BRO !! I JUST ORDERED ONE OF THESE THIS MORNING , GREAT LOOKING GUN, & LIKE YOUR PRESENTATION ON THIS BEAUTIFUL B. 92 F.S.!! 🤣 🧐 😮 😎 🥳 🤯 🥸 🤠 😮 👌 🤏 🤞 🤟 🤘 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌝MARK 1941 1/18/2025
Because of the US. Most of the US market wants light guns because they are carried on the person, and the US is BY FAR the largest market for gun manufacturers. Stainless is very heavy, that only makes sense in competition use where accuracy is more important than weight. See the CZ tactical Sport or CZ Shadow 2. I rarely see composite guns on the range in The Netherlands, most people shoot all steel guns like CZ, Beretta, pardini, 1911, Hammerli, revolvers etc. because we only use them for competition shooting.

I love stainless Beretta 92's. That's going to be the next gun to the collection.

ArmsUnlimited has had the Italian models in stock for months for 699.99.
@@ltx383 nice find!
Just ordered one from Academy. I came here looking for the differences.

Hell yeah beretta made in Italy way better and more expensive, I got mine last week same gun
Why is my Italian Inox made with rubber patterned grips instead?

Italian ones are definitely better made
Always going to prefer a Beretta made in Italy, just like I wouldn’t want a colt made somewhere other than the US

Same with German Sig Sauers and Austrian Glocks, In my opinion.

I’ve noticed the frame of my American inox is the same as the m9. But my 2003 fs has the Italian style frame. I’m so confused on the two of them.
Great gun! Where did you get the stainlees guide rod and spring?
from Beretta's own webshop actually

I wonder why Beretta is pretty much the only company that still makes stainless handguns. Wish HK still made stainless slide pistols.
