Polish Radom P64 - A PPKish in 9 Makarov
I came across this during my travels and always wanted one. The price was right (barring some headache from the shop I had bought it from, not doing that again) and so I opted for it.
I was very pleasantly surprised both with the quality of this piece and the performance. I've been happy with it and like most other fixed barrel blowback pistols of this type, are very accurate. The recoil while not as bad as a PPK in 380, is certainly not something you will spend all day shooting.
This little pistol is a great example for a small and capable piece, even with the heavy trigger pull.

Ultimak Mini 14 Scout Rail + Vortex Crossfire 2 Scout Scope
มุมมอง 1.6K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
In a bit of a dual experiment, I wanted to see how the Ultimak Mini 14 rail would hold up under use and how the scout scope concept worked without having to buy yet another rifle that uses the scout scope concept mounting system. There is a not a huge selection of scout scopes available and thus I went with Vortex because of its price, availability, and decent glass clarity. I wasn't interested...
Sig Sauer P226 Review - Good Experience With a P22X Pistol

My history with the hammer fired Sig pistols has not been the greatest, and nothing about them excited me or caught my attention other than historical value or reputation. Having shot many different types of Sig pistol, 225s, 220s, 228s, 229s, and finally 226s, nothing about them really got me or held me like my other favorite pistols. Finally, I decided it was time to just up and own my own P2...
M16A2 "Clone" Build - Close to My Own Service Rifle

This build was a little less involved and easier to put together than the A1 for sure. Using a RRA A2 complete upper and I believe an H&R standard government A2 profile barrel with some original Colt handguards, this was much easier to find parts for. The lower I borrowed from my A4 build as the lowers are essentially the same. I did opt for an A1 style grip still, because A2 grips are almost u...

Yugoslavian M57 Tokarev - The Most Duty Pistol Ever

Tokarev pistols were designed from the outset to be duty service pistols and in that regard I think they do quite well despite some flaws that today we would consider unacceptable or not sound. Considering the crop of other Soviet era sidearms, the Tokarev is quite an advancement from say, the Nagant revolvers of old. Though the Tokarev would be overshadowed by its later compatriot the Makarov ...

Have had my Radom P-64 for a while now. Love it! Grew to like the Makarov round, and now have an FEG SMC918, CZ 82 and a Bulgarian Makarov. the CZ 82, for me is the better shooting one. The others are all great but the CZ is just a little better. there is another Radom that showed up and an LGS, it is rated by NRA standards at 80% and they asking to exchange 400 beans for it kid of tempting. I think you will enjoy yours very much.
GREAT VIDEO BRO !! I JUST ORDERED ONE OF THESE THIS MORNING , GREAT LOOKING GUN, & LIKE YOUR PRESENTATION ON THIS BEAUTIFUL B. 92 F.S.!! 🤣 🧐 😮 😎 🥳 🤯 🥸 🤠 😮 👌 🤏 🤞 🤟 🤘 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌝MARK 1941 1/18/2025
God I love that retro style man I'm trying to do the same. I didn't hear you say it but how much did it cost you ?
You know, I honestly don't remember how much it was altogether Maybe under 1000 Id say?
25 YARDS!!?? 2-inch group!? ... You must have meant 25 feet!? Yes?
No sir, 25 yards. That's the standard distance I shoot pistols at to measure accuracy
@@shazarad4127 wow.. and a 2 inch group!! Very good.
A bit late to the party but: I have the 45 version from when they first came out. Saw it at SHOT in Orlando. Love it. Very high quality as would be expected of Beretta. Not much aftermarket support. Primarily sierrapapa in Portland, OR. Did their early trigger mods and hi-cap mag conversions. Addition of a Trijicon RMR and Surefire light and it's good to go. Did a bunch of steel challenge matches with it over the years. I picked up one of the latest imports in 9mm and it has become my PCC steel shooter. The 45 is my primary HD long gun now. The new one got nearly the full treatment from sierrapapa; trigger upgrade along with their machined aluminum trigger housing, recoil spring guide, and upgraded buffer. Didn't go full monty with the stock removal/change to AR stock or removal of the iron sights. They're not very common in my area and have never gained a large following in this country. Not sure why. Very handy, ergonomic and an easy transition from the AR manual of arms. They quit being imported for a while then picked up again with the current version. I think the popularity of PCC's had something to do with its return but I'm still not seeing them out in the wild very much.
You would say the SP treatment is worth the money?
@@shazarad4127 For me, I would say a qualified yes. On my original 45 version I did the aluminum trigger/steel hammer/hammerspring/steel recoil guide/spring link & buffer upgrades. Those individual parts, especially the hammer/trigger change, made a tremendous difference in the trigger. Those original triggers had a lot of creep and were quite heavy. Absolutely worth it. As to my later generation 9mm, it's kind of inconclusive. The OEM trigger was actually better than the ones on the first imports. Less creep and lighter but not perfect. On this one, the trigger upgrade made it "better" but not by a significant amount. It's now my steel challenge gun and gets a lot of trigger time so that's why I went whole hog and made all the internal upgrades including the machined aluminum trigger housing. That wasn't available when upgrading my 45. My 45 got a lot of trigger time as well until it retired to HD duty. I've not noticed any wear of the OEM polymer trigger housing so whether that upgrade is "necessary", I can't really say. The only thing I will say is that their machining and tolerances on the housing are top notch. Worth it? I have no kids, I'm retired with a comfortable pension, and I could afford it. You're mileage may vary. I would say that the trigger/hammer and guide rod/spring link and buffer upgrades would be great starting points and if I were to buy another one of these I'd definitely go there. Especially the trigger/hammer. The OEM plastic parts gave a somewhat "mushy" feel to trigger pull. SP's upgrades do away with that altogether. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!! 😁
I would be proud to own that carbine. Good job
Excellent, best short rifle
i have the same one but mines made here in tennessee
Isn't it ironic how the military will spend trillions of dollars on a new aircraft carrier but they can't be bothered to order up new recoil springs for all those worn-out pistols in their inventory.
I believe the airsoft MP5 endcaps fit on this since Umarex also makes an airsoft version, and they're both the same exact size. I got an airsoft telescoping brace for it that's coming in, so I'm going to try it out and see if it will work. If not, I'm going to just print a picatinny endcap.
I've heard of that too but I've never tried it
North Hollywood shootout style! lol
That bipod is a must
My dad started me out shooting when I was 7 years old on a hk91 I have had a love for that pattern of rifle ever since I remember telling kids at school that my dad had a rifle that could drop a trex
Love stories like that

@@shazarad4127 and of course when my dad started me shooting with that it was on a bipod
this probably also explains why my tula 223 jamps up inside my surefire quad stack magazine, even tho its aluminum the steel ammo is probably causing friction inside
Yes when you stack even more in a large magazine you have to consider each round that each round is touching and multiply that friction It adds up the more you go, so if it worked in a 30 rounder it may not in a 50 or 60 like you said
This Fudd really, and I mean really enjoyed this video. I didn't see many who thought like you, but the ones I did see were a great asset to our units. You are going to go far in life.
They are made for 158 grains, you'll have problems with speed loader with those grips,
Enjoyed this video. This old guy carried the M16 for over 20 years in the Army, so I'm definitely bored with that platform. Got my first mini back in 82', but ended up selling it and regretted it ever since. I finally purchased a new mini ranch with the 18.5" barrel and I'm rediscovering the love I had for this rifle. The newer models are an improvement over the 180 series. I'm glad you are enjoying your rifle, there's nothing wrong with being a Mini 14 fan.

Purchased my P01 back in 2012 and installed a Cajun trigger. This thing is smooth as butter. It's my EDC and I'm finally getting it cut for EPS carry.
Great review
I had one used it as a deposit for the beretta brx1 and found out the store was selling them at a much higher price than anyone else so pulled out of the purchase
The Iranian M49 is the carbine with a cut in the stock.
Love the g3 I built one and doing 3 more from classic to full modern
How do you spell the defense company that can 3D print the rear cap for the brace?
dan haga I believe
Thanks for the video. When I remove the mag safety on a BHP, I put a trigger stop - a longer pin in the safety hole makes the job. Without the stop, the trigger drop is very long. Just my 2 cents.
NICE GUN.
I almost bought one of the new ones a couple years ago, it was the 3inch barrel model. I don't know why but the new Python just didn't "feel" right which I can't explain. I've always been more of a S&W guy when it comes to revolvers, but I'd still like to have a Python one day. Guess my S&W 681 will continue to be my only .357 double action revolver.
Hell yeah!
Glad you are home bud!!
I will keep my early pythons since I spoke with you I fired a new one and not impressed again. Colt firearms are in my opinion not as good as others . 😮😊😊😊merry Christmas to you
That's nice. PSA has a Bushmaster upper I'm buying to finish my M4 build. Good job.
Can someone help me this was my dad’s gun in 45acp (first one I ever shot in 09) he passed it to me but it needs a lot of love. Are there reliable sites to buy guide springs, maybe a new barrel?!? SOS lol
You can Google recoil springs for the P250, the guide rod is different from P320s but the springs should be almost identical to P226/P220/P229 springs Barrels you can use any P320 barrel, I've tried and they will drop in
Actually you did good financially deal Those are the most wanted versions I’ve heard it trade for 2-3 grand
I've got a question for you that you might find a bit silly but I have a good reason for asking and that is. What color is the delta ring that holds the handguards in place on your A1 ?. It appears to be a silver grayish color. The reason I ask is because I recently purchased a modern made retro barrel from Brownell's and that's the color mine is and I wasn't sure if that's correct...
Mine is in fact gray and yes they are supposed to be that color
Dont know it is still pertinent. Browne Works makes grips specifically for this pistol.
Thank you, I'll look into them for sure
Seriously looking into the magnum version.
The mk2 is the pinnacle of .22 target pistol design. You are lucky to have his gun that he loved and that outlived him.
Bought mine years ago and it came with the rail kit which attaches using the two side rails and gives you a bottom rail underneath which is a much better place to put your vertical foregrip. I purchased a role of non-slip tape from West Marine and put on the slick grip. Texture is the same as the Talon rubber grip. Also, recently got the GTS Launch edition. GREAT trigger and shooter. Check it out!!! Beretta fan here.
Your a shit shot i have two and they work fine...
Anyone else thinking "Billy Bob Thornton" or is it just me? 😂😂😂
I ended up getting mine cajonized. Mostly because I was having trouble getting a good position on the stock trigger. The flatter trigger helped a ton for me and a 5lb double action pull with a 3lb single is truly what Cajun does so well. Upgraded the sight to Night Fision and it's definitely a shooter... Great review btw..
Absolutely love my CX4, for the money its a great carbine. Also I alleviated the stiff safety by sanding the safety detent ridge down a ways. It helped a ton and I can easily get it off safe with my index finger.
Can Anyone Explain To Me How A Cheap Frame Ends Up Been A $1,361.01 Build??? 😂😂😂😂 Where I Made A Wrong Turn Or What??? 😂😂😂😂😂
I like your club foot stock that’s really nice I have an original HK 91 and I love it. You’re right they’re an absolute bear to clean I literally take hours to clean mine but it’s worth it when it’s done. I have an original German claw mount scope and it’s fantastic it repeats every time. It’s the original German four power scope. With the lighted reticle. It’s amazing you can take it off and clean the gun and put it back on and it will hit zero at 100 yards every time. I have a replica claw mount with a different scope but it’s not as good as the original German. I have all the accessories for the gun and this gun is definitely a keeper.
That's really cool. The whole package deal
I love stainless Beretta 92's. That's going to be the next gun to the collection.
Great carbine. Accurate and reliable and it looks cool. Love mine.
I have a 686+, but I love the blue finish on the 586.
