Yes! So do I! Unfortunately I've found out afterwards that a lot of the audio in my recordings is disrupted by unnecessary cabin noise. Definately something I'm looking to include more in the future though. Thanks for your support
Looked a fantastic flight probably helped by a relatively new aircraft, some of BAs long haul fleet are pretty ancient, but even if that is the case the food and cabin service should be of a similar standard. BA certainly seem to be trying to improve their service standards. Agree with you comment on having to walk back from the B gate lounge you are correct
Yes it was! I've never flown their old club seats but I'm certain the experience wouldn't have been as amazing overall if I did this flight. Perhaps they put some money into figuring out the best catering amounts or maybe it was just luck this flight but I was definately not expecting to get my first choice of all meals, so kudos to them. On other flights in the last row of the cabin I've often been left with only 1 choice. Thanks for the support!
@@kickedinthecalfbyacow7549 many of BA 777 are over 20 years old, I recently flew on a 23 year old BA A319 so they do have some pretty old aircraft in their fleet
If you were blown away by that product, you should definitely try flying with Eastern Asian or Middle Eastern carriers then your jaw will drop! Recently flew on the BA A350 in club from London to Tokyo for 13 hours, it was very disappointing to say the least (crew were friendly though!). My outbound was with Japan Airlines and I have to say they are a whole world away from BA, BA can only ever dream to be on the same level as them along with most other oriental and Middle Eastern carriers from my experience.
Yeah my experiences with their short haul product weren't great but for this long haul flight they were amazing - but then again it was only 1 flight and perhaps they're not as consistent as this overall
We used to fly BA Club World for many years :London to Cape Town v.v. But after the Brexit the prices are so incredibly high so we.had to chose for another airline.
Still not enough legroom if your 6ft 4” and that’s with paying extra for “so called” extra legroom what a rip off had my legs doubled up just to fit into the meagre space provided.
Great video! The hardware on A350 is superb! I also learned a lot on how to improve my Vlogs from you, especially from the very detail information in the description part! Keep going! Hope the comment, like and subscribe help a bit to boost the video suggestion algorithm further! Cheers!
If you take it back the other way to A gates, it deposits you landside and you have to clear security again. The only way to get back to airside is by walking back
@@LetsTravelAviation Hiya - sorry, maybe I'm missing something but the T5 train link goes from A to B to C and back again. Just jump on it!! There are lounges in A, B and C all directly accessible from the train link.
You're absolutely right the train does run from A to C and back to A. And we could absolutely have reboarded the train at B and gone back to A. It is possible if you really want to do it. The only downside is you arrive into A like an arriving passenger and you're only choice to get back to departures is to reclear transit security - something I had neither the time nor the desire to re-do. You can bypass this by just walking back to A.
A350 is my favourite plane, however BA are my least favourite airline, and coming from a Brit that should never be said but they've gone downhill so much over the last 10-15 years that I only use them now if I have very little other option. For me, Finnair are the best European airline.
Great thing about BA is their crews. They are friendly and delightful most of the time. However, I find BA catering on long haul needs improvement. The portion and presentation is not something I would call business class. Their bedding is too thin compared to many other top tier airlines. Overall, BA is still a decent airline to fly with, but nothing special and nothing to look forward to really.
Most of my short haul flights with them were a bit disappointing, and I'm sure a long haul flight in their old Club World cabin would be very below average, but I found this flight to be quite the opposite!!
Great report, BA have really come good at last with this new suite, of course the A350 is a bonus.
Yes, I never have flown their old product but from what I've heard the club suite has really turned BA around
A350 Is A Beautiful Air Craft.Great Video And Info
Thanks! The A350 sure is great!
Wow that’s T5 looks amazing, I never being in that terminal before wow
Yeah it's already about 15 years old but still works pretty well
Awesome flight review dude!, it would though be nice to have more aircraft audio (without that non-stop music)

Flying business in late July. Hoping for a similar experience!

What aircraft do they have that are ancient?

I used to love BA and was Gold for a number of years. Sadly, regardless of the aircraft and layout it seems to have gone south in recent years.

The prices on this route were quite extreme!

I'm sure it does! Glad I could help
Interesting flight 👍✈️🇷🇺
Yes it was!
No 4k?
Sorry dude - the T5 train is 2 way, not one way as you indicated (otherwise how would disembarking travellers get to A where Immigration etc is

Yeah the T5B lounge agents said we would have to walk back. I guess you could clear transit security again but we didn't have the time for that

I'm sorry to say that BA new seat is a bit bland

Unfortunately, my trip on the A350 from YVR to LHR a week ago in Biz class was mediocre at best. I think I am done with them
Ruined by loud and unecessary noise
Well you'll be pleased to know then that there isn't as much music in my latest videos :)
I flew Business class with them for the first time 2 years ago. NEVER EVER AGAIN.
I feel that had I been on the old seats this would have been a very different experience...
Lots of really annoying music but no commentary? No thanks
BA suck.

Errrr nothing special. European airlines mostly underwhelming
