“Victory, Justice, and Peace”…for the long suffering children of Israel who’ve been preemptively and violently attacked by Arabs numerous times, long before 1948, and before, occupation, displacement, settlements, State of Israel, etc were excuses for the preemptive violence by Arabs who conveniently now call themselves, Palestinian [Arabs].
We Support Israel in its right to defend itself against a terrorist organization who invaded their sovereign territory.
We Support Israel in its fight to destroy Hamas.
Contrary to the propaganda of St. Gabor and his Apostles, Israel is not trying to destroy the Palestinian people.
We Support Israel’s right to battle the massive antisemitic and anti-Israel propaganda out there - Daniel Mate and his cult followers being just one minor example.

Same, every word is measured and poignant. Palestınıans love the Maté family! They speak a universal truth that makes me want to examine our own flaws in our resistance movement. Some mistakes we've made along the way, some that were impulsive or just desperate ... and some that we secretly regret, but can't say out loud bc we fear it'll give the opposition the ammunition to weaken our movement. But yes, in hushed tones, we do acknowledge the cycle of abuse and we do understand that we've inflicted pain as well - even if it is deemed justified as self-defense.
We've both hurt each other, despite being so similar, despite us being semitic cousins. I want so badly to see past the vitriol and bigotry long enough to tell an Isræli that we're both trapped in a back & forth cycle, of which they absolutely hold all the power and leverage to change things so that we could both obtain peace and liberation. However, when hierarchies are involved in which one is better than the other, it's hard to convince the one in the elevated position of privilege, success, and autonomy to level both of our positions until we're equal.
Few white or white-adjacent persons would willingly give up privilege in the short-term, for the longer-term benefits that creates an equitable & happier world for everyone. Through their myopic lens, that short-term privilege is a sacrifice much too great. So how do you get them to resonate in seeking peace, one that's not obtained by living isolated behind walls? It's hard to talk to someone who's distracted by their temporarily comfortable existence.

I am so sorry they are treating you like that. I always say when I see somebody in the street in need of help (of any kind), I don't ask them what their religion is. I just help them if I can. because we are all human and it does not matter what our religion is (or is not). There is an old saying: If one is not affected and unperturbed by other's grief, pain and suffering, one is not worthy to be called human.
But don't despair! Israel will be free of the apartheid regime sooner or later and all people calling it home (jews, muslims, christians, secualrs, etc.) will live there in peace and without constant fear. I am sure you can find like minded people in your area, if not reach out to the ones in bigger cities. I am sure you will get support from them. Also don't be shy to find Palestinian supporters. 1. If Israel had not behaved like a terrorist State, today we would still be crying over the Israeli hostages and deaths.
      2. If Israel had not responded with such a disproportionate backlash to an attack against approximately 1,200/1,300 Israeli people, killing more than 30,000 Palestinians, and injuring more than 100,000 civilians, and starving an entire Palestinian population, we would be here mourning the Israeli deaths and standing in solidarity with the Israelis .
      3. I really don't understand why a Dictatorial State, such as the State of Israel at this precise moment in History, can be defined a democracy, considering the continuous failure to comply with International Law, and now, as a final step, by taking a position against the UN also, and against the 'sentence/proposal' of the ICJ (The Court of Justice - Hague) which asked Israel to stop this massacre, accepting South Africa's proposals to consider all the so-called 'provisional measures' referring to the disproportionate and inhuman counter-response by the State of Israel.
      4. Let's think about after the attacks in London: so, all the Jamaincans had to be responsible for that terrorist attack?
      5. What about if France had reacted the same after 'The Bataclan'?
And all those examples of the same kind!
      6. If you (Israel) want to stop and capture the terrorists, you should remind yourself that Mossad failed as your Israeli dictatorship did!

You feel for innocent children being starved to death like Yazan Kafarneh, one of the latest children in Gaza to die of severe malnourishment as Israel blocks aid from entering the territory.
You hurt when you hear of children like Hind Rajab, a 6 year old found dead in Gaza 12 days after crying for help, who pleaded for hours with the Red Crescent to rescue her, who was found dead along with several relatives and even two paramedics who tried to save her.

You’re a brave and compassionate man Mr. Mate. I think that more people are changing their views about Israel and the atrocities they have committed against the Palestinian people. I’m just a German-Irish girl thankfully raised in a predominantly Jewish town in south New Jersey. I cannot imagine how lonely it feels to stand up for a cause that many people just don’t understand or wont understand. Sending love, support, admiration and understanding from Los Angeles. Happy Hanukkah to you and your family. 🙏❤️

I must admit that prior to the last year or so, I knew nothing about Israel/Palestine. I began to learn through Roger Waters. When I learned about the Nakba, the Settlers, etc., my thought was, these people are not Jews. Jews would be following at the very least the 'thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal'.Then I heard a Hassidic Jewish man on TH-cam voicing my same feelings. My entire life I have been around mostly Jewish people, due to the neighborhood I was raised in. I am not Jewish. My best friends were, and I haven't really thought about it up until now. I agree with it all and love listening to Daniel speak about his truth.

@@padmalaycock1612Hi. Same here. And God bless Roger Waters ❤️ I started doing research about Israel I’d say one year ago. I saw an expose video of a wealthy N.J. rabbi moving into settlements in the West Bank. I started researching, was shocked at what I found and then the Oct. 7th attack happened, and with it Israel’s outrageously non-human response. Take care. Stay well.

Thank you Daniel for this effort and for the work you and your family contribute to understanding the reality of this very complex situation. My understanding of the essence of Jewishness is taking responsibility for your ethical and moral choices, beyond shame and guilt, and toward accountability and remedial actions.
I was born in the former Soviet Union and most of my family perished in the European Holocaust. I lived in Israel as a child in the early 1960's and came to the US in the mid 1960's to be reunited with my father's surviving sibling. I started learning about the alternate view of Israel's history several years ago and it has been difficult to integrate this new information with my personal childhood memories and idealizations.
"Fortunately", I don't have family left with whom I am close. I can imagine that sharing my evolving ideas about Israel would be very difficult. I think at first I would not say much but I would eventually need to "confess" when provoked and I think it would test our relationship significantly, whether it was acknowledged or not. I can imagine that those who do have close family, must be being truly tested at this time but this has always been the way that humanity progresses, one relationship at a time and then in waves.

I am so relieved to hear someone shares the same values as me today. Social media was beginning to make me think I would soon be an extinct human variant. When I asked, "Is it okay to steal land if you can put it to better use?", they said, "It's not stealing if you fight for it." I started thinking this dumbing down was all planned way back. Many Americans don't have the core values we take for granted, and quite frankly, it's scary as this can't be sustained by any civilization. I feel the end is near as WWIII approaches.
