I like it almost like a bungalow but not and accessibility features are thought of and not an afterthought. Eco friendly and height friendly too. I liked the long table in the kitchen and integrated practical uses and appliances. The bedrooms were nice but would have made room for an office downstairs rather than up and left it for a bedroom. I like the exercise area and sauna :) Just concerned about the shallow pool outside should have been surrounded for safety for children as I assume families will want these types of homes as well. I wonder if an indoor pool would have been better with safety rails. Not a new concept by any means but certainly more effective. I only wish it was implemented by other gov'ts on a smaller scale to create much needed social housing which needs more urgent builds. Great presentation Tom and Jas :)
The cost in the past was not much different from building a regular house. Not sure how things are now. One needs to consider whether you can secure insurance and how long the houses actually last. The real benefit are the eco credentials and build time. But if it only lasts for 100 or so years, then is it worth it in terms of a generational asset.
I like how the developer combined all type of materials and make possible for this home that cozy looking and embrace nature. Guys it is amazing that the factory let you guys visit them and known all their process and compromise with the sustainability. 🏡
You should also feature Baufritz. I’ve seen a couple of their Lorrie’s in convoy on the M25 in Surrey last week delivering to a customer. I bought a plot of development land in Surrey Hills for £200k and will buy my own prefab house, preferably with Baufritz.
@@connect4558 Auction House London website. Last week, I missed out on a fantastic plot with planning permission in Berkshire that sold for £28,000. Houses on the same street recently sold for £600,000 - £800,000. Guide price was £20,000 and only 2 bidders went for it. Savills auction this month has a good selection of plots going for cheap, especially the £40,000 guide price plot in Feltham, Hounslow, with planning permission for a 1 bed bungalow. Properties in the same area can sell for up to £1m. I'm slightly annoyed that I've only just started buying plot of land but I mainly focus on guide prices under £50,000 to build a property (prefab house is cheaper and quicker to sell).
Prefab houses have been around since 1945. For some reason we don't use it enough, probably because the traditional builders try to avoid it as it ruins their cost model.
Probably, the longevity on paper may put people off, they say sips last around 60 years but could last longer in real life. Plus upfront cost is more than traditional buildings

Been saying for years prefab would make UK so much better! Get rid of dodgey new builds, better standards, more energy efficient, less waste & lower costs!

I really like the finishes, and from what I saw, the craftsmanship appeared excellent. However, the first floor layout was so impractical I assume it was designed solely as a showcase and not for people to use. That long, 14m round trip island and integrated table would be inconvenient and hopefully no one needs to access the tiny pantry at the end of the narrow hall while the oven door is open. Don’t get me started on the “wine room”. It is not for wine, unless climate control somehow works while the (beautiful) doors open. Or perhaps it is intended as dishware storage …too from a dishwasher w/ tiny shelves. I am open to suggestions on how it might be / was designed to be utilized. Sorry - I couldn’t keep watching.
Not keen on staircases. Single level luxe with ultra high ceilings appeal to my esthetic and functional sense. This house would have been great SANS stairs and second level. The hallways are also very narrow. You can’t reach the pool from primary suite (which takes away from the “indoor-outdoor” feel and utility.
This house has Danish "hygge".
Warm natural materials and indirect lighting.
Well done.
Thank you so much!
Much better this type of video than the ridiculous houses in the US. Good job!
So beautiful. Wow, I can't believe this is a prefab house.
Well done and I wish for you more success.
Stay blessed.
Thank you so much! Glad to hear you enjoyed the tour!
Love this tour. So calming and relaxing, informative. A beautiful home and fascinating design/creation process too.
Thank you very much for your feedback! 😊
Gorgeous house, and a really interesting process.
Also I see Tom snuck a bike in there. 💯
Thank you!
O modern taste and quality! Sublime
Thank you so much!!
BEAUTIFUL THE KITCHEN ESPECIALLY THE ISLAND IN COOKTOP IN THE STONE 🖤🔥🩶
😍
The dynamic duo. Lve you guys!

Best show out here
its thumbs up from me .. good job all round ..design ,deco , outfit !! :D
Fantastic
Beautiful ❤
At first the video seemed too short for both factory and house tour, but then ofcourse it was perfect because of you both.
Why is there a "freestanding" tub attached to the bed in the master bedroom?! Is that a joke?
11:40
stunning
Thank you so much!!
Great tour. Suggestion, how about some houses tours in Nashville (TN) and some locations around Colorado?
Pre Fab is the way to go
We always watch till the end!!! 🎉🎉🎉

This is more like a 19 min long ad for this company, rather then a real house tour.

Nice home, but I have a question: In which countries are these services available? Are they limited to Germany?

Are the windows in all the bathrooms/shower rooms fitted with mirrored/reflective glass or are German laws not really bothered about nudity?
How is this pre-fabricated?!! 🤯
No more luxury homes to film in the UK?
Where is the (your) Problem ? Have

Sounds like a kindergarten teacher …. Now children, this is a door, this is a kitchen, here is a bed, and we are walking on floors!!!!
Holy slat wall, Batman 😂
Pre-fabrication might be the future ??? …. In the intro. The host has been living on another planet??? Lmao 😂😂😂
👍 👍
If everyone would like 3000 sqft home, planet will not sustain that hahahaha
I wonder how much you get paid for weberhaus ad 🤔
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the same as they get paid for every other video. They advertise houses. Shock horror.
19 minute infomercial
Hey, just asking, is it weberhaus or veberhaus😂😂
In English it is Weber.
W is pronounced like V in German, so they say it wrong
@@rnash999yes but no, this brand is German not English 😅
this isnt a tour but a commercial
there is nothing "eco friendly" about a 3,000 sq ft single family home.
It's so sad that the uk doesn't have nice design such as this, it's all facebrick boxes. Ugly.
More German Homes
