Nice lot of footage . . . thanks for sharing . . . I enjoyed watching thanks, especially as I've walked over most all of that country you covered. (Good to see a Hyperlite pack in there too!)

Thanks man, it’s an amazing place eh :) Yep I took a bigger bag but Matt managed to fit all his gear in the hyperlite pack. Wasn’t super comfy on the shoulders for 8 days being full and heavy but did the job :)

I never got a look at the bull that was shot at, but yes looking back prob a good thing he missed. Hard to make those decisions on the hills in the heat of the moment. Cheers

Awesome vid guys. We were in the Edith. Good to meet you up the tops. I was camped under the tree bottom left at 6m during that storm wasn’t windy at all. 😅

Epic vid thanks for taking the time to put it together! In reflection do Ya reckon ya would have had more luck with mature animals in the bush?

No worries mate, yea was always a trade off. Who knows, we could have just as easy spotted something massive on the tops. Just makes me want to head back and try again. :) Defiantly wanted to do some bush stalking but just a shame the trip got cut short. Cheers

Yea man it would be amazing if we had pure Waps, the Fiordland foundation are doing a great job and the quality of animals if definitely getting better each year.
