i feel like once you get to the last encounters of the area, instead of the usual 2-3 enemies, there's a random assortment of 4 enemies from the area ready to beat your ass to last week
Or possibly 4 Enemies, with the fourth one being from the *next* area. Like, a couple enemies that go out of their way to leave their homes JUST to attempt to bash your head in.
1: I love the idea that the enemies took up the name of The Gauntlet Of Deadly Terror 2: I love love the fact that the enemies are actually ganging up on you instead of cowering away 3: I love love love that it’s a reference to the shock site
I don't want this to sound like uty's enemy retreating, but i had an idea: once per area (or thrice, in hotland) a group of 10 enemies will fight you, 3 at a time. these CANT be spared unless you kick their asses to almost dead. these also have stats modified so they can (kinda) stand a fight. once you kill one of the 3, another one from the 10 will replace them, until no more are left. the song also slows down more the more you progress into the battle.
…maybe it’s just my sleep deprived brain playing tricks on me, but do I hear a bit of Beloved Tomboyish Girl in there? Nah, probably just the hallucinations getting to me again.
It serves an entirely separate function from Enemy Retreating, actually. Enemy Retreating is usually an indication that you're getting close to wiping out the monsters in an area, but here in Monster Mix it just replaces Enemy Approaching from Snowdin onward.
@@dashingtoadieyou could make it intentional like frisk is putting less of the love power into their weapon and more into their hp and to have a different level to stat curve than undertale does

undertale yellow definitely isn't the only undertale-related project to feature an Enemy Approaching replacement unique to its genocide route lol (plus this song had already been made before undertale yellow even came out)
@@dashingtoadie Fair, I just found it funny how close in time this was uploaded for normies like me to hear and UT Yellow came out. I'm not detracting from this at all (frankly it sounds more in line with a Geno-exclusive Enemy Approaching than Enemy Retreating to me)
Enemies Rapidly Approaching your Exact Location
when the enemy is approaching:
When the monsters are stronger:
i feel like once you get to the last encounters of the area, instead of the usual 2-3 enemies, there's a random assortment of 4 enemies from the area ready to beat your ass to last week
Imagine a fight where when you defeat an enemy, another one comes in continuously until they've run out. Like, fighting 6 monsters 3 at a time.
It would be cool if the last fight was like 8 monsters that cycle between each other each turn like the Feisty Five in UT Yellow
Exactly what I was thinking!

I don't know what surprises me more, that it sounds perfect, or that the scene with the title is very similar to one site...
This is a really neat idea to increase the difficulty of the bad time route! Maybe their stats would also be increased?
It would make a lot of sense, actually
Since the strength of monsters also depends on how much they want to kill you
I like to think that there will be less random encounters but way more forced and harder encounters everywhere with more traps that they set up
LET'S GET EM, FELLAS.
Song that plays when there's only one Ice Cap Left

They didn't forget those *genocides*, did they?
Yes, I know it's an Swap AU
what does it being an au with shifted around roles have to do with the joke
@@kirby47897 I don't actually know,
The fact it's a Genocide Route where they didn't forget the previous runs?
