Please create more videos about how you work in Zed. What shortcuts do you use, what features do you like, etc. Also, please post your configs. Also thank you for CATBOX)
Did you switch from Neovim to Zed? Would you say it's an improvement to Neovim? What would you recommend to someone that tries to move to the best editor once and for all?
I did not move to it, no. Zed is an awesome editor and I really like it. But I find myself using Jetbrains IDEs with IdeaVim more than Neovim and Zed. It works and has the best support for whatever language you're working with. It's not as flexible as Neovim, but how often do we need to change things anyway. If you code with Go, Rust, Java, JS/TS, then Jetbrains IDEs are worth the money. Their LSP is on a different level than anything opensource
Yeah there is currently only official support for macOS, but you can build it for both Windows and Linux. Last I heard it was working quite well on Linux.
Linux builds are quite solid and usable. I've been using it for 2-3 weeks, but some collaborative features are either weird or fail on Linux.(Btw mostly I use it for my rust projects)
Any difference with Sublime Build systems? Or even VIM make? I don`t think so.

@@adibhanna I agree with you. Jetbrains is like Superman, Zed like Batman, and Neovim like Ant man.
@@adibhanna Having the same opinion. Jetbrains is an absolute supertool for developers.
How does this differ from VS Code tasks? I think it doesn't right?
not sure! never used vscode tasks before. I would assume different editors has a similar thing to this
it is usefurl and how do you debug in zed or do git versioning? Make a video on those too. Thanks for the video :)
Do more Zed stuff, I subbed :)
Very useful. Thank you

Is it not available in the other builds, or not working for you?
@@theherk they release only for mac and community is trying to build for linux no news for windows

i do not understand the point of crying, just use vs code or anything else then?
Vs code has the same thing, it is not anything new :|
He is talking about about a feature which was released in zed, he is not saying that its a groundbreaking new feature not available anywhere else
Nothing vscode has is new either. Ok LSPs are a cool thing and surprising that they come at least out of same corner
Zed is crap it take so much computing process . My old computer crashed many times before I throw away zed into trash bin.😂😂😂
Use vs code 🙂
