So many things wrong with this video. NEVER use a hard tool like pliers to remove the objective lenses. A better way is to wear rubber gloves and use your hands to unscrew the lenses. The rubber gloves with way more grip and they always come off that way. If you really HAVE to use pliers make sure they have tape around them to make sure there is a softer surface contact with the objective lens metal body. NEVER use sharp tools like forceps to clean the obective lenses even if there is a filter paper around them. Use something which is less hard than the glass on the objectives optics. Use a wooden tool or just good old hands with filter paper. Another way is to use cotton swabs dipped in absolute ethanol to wipe the objective lenses.
I watched back this in 2018 ... feeling nostalgic ❤
Why is there all the background noise?

I get my first microscope tomorrow. Thank you for this information!
Huma grande aula das partes moveis e manutenção grato pelas informações
Very good, I think. Though I wouldn't use lens tissues much as they hard and thus abrasive to e.g. the bloom on eyepieces.
This is the most professional and practical video I've seen. Unless you have a few million dollar lab equipment. ;)
very good, really enjoying everything
Very Helpful, Thx

For a beginner, this is great. Micro g. is either an expert or arrogant.
Are there any online programs or even home study courses on advanced microscope maintenance and repair? I'd like to start my own business.
