“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel. “

Though he's now Jake Zyrus but still Charice is the Philippine's Pride ever ... unfortunately NO ONE yet has proved to follow her footsteps to stardom. I wish someone would make it to billboard again and become a star like Charice... and that would be Katrina. I wish she'd be recognized by David Foster and introduce her to Oprah or Ellen Show and other great singers who are legendary... like what he did to Charice... Well maybe because of Charice's Power on her voice that makes it unique to David... 😭😭😭 I really miss Charice!
I’ve seen nearly all of them and I’ve never ever ever ever seen or heard a vocalist who obliterated all competition but she DID!! I never thought I’d find anyone who could stand side by side with Celine but she certainly can. She’s beyond gifted. Her ability to sing this song is so extraordinary she takes this performance to the edge of the most beautiful cliff and has the ability to then do a swan dive off of it, taking us with her on the most glorious flight! She’s absolutely extraordinary!!

If you like artists who make the songs their own, KZ Tandingan is a master at it. She was a contestant on Singer 2018 and she even beat her idol Jessie J with her Rolling In The Deep performance. She deconstructs and reconstructs and she manages to make it better than the original.

Rebecca, you are my favorite youtuber so far! I've watched reacts of this and others a gazillion times but with you, I enjoy the breakdown of the technical aspect. It's like attending a master class. My english breakfast tea is always ready ,, while watching your reaction!!! i love your reaction,, i have learned a lot,, unfortunately I still can't sing !!! haha,, Music is a sport in the Philippines !!! I participated in singing karaoke ( as it well know every homes in the Philippines owns karaoke machine ),,, Filipinos are known around the world as great Singers,, Although my Father was a very good Singer as well,, I did not inherit his talent but my younger Sisters and my Nieces are blessed with that good voice . But for me, still useless,, my voice still bad ,, haha ,, that is ok I sing only when I am alone ,, in the shower lol,, or when nobody is around Haha !!

I love you (even more than I already do) for reacting to her. She is severely underrated here it's pathologic. I believe she deserves the same recognition as Mori and KZ. This song, especially I believe is meaningful to her because she seem to receive trickles of recognition but it's NEVER ENOUGH! Not tantamount to her talent at least. I almost tear up each time she hits them notes in this song because its so passionate and so true to the treatment she is receiving in here. I mean look, she's recording this probably at her bedroom with earphones and smule when she should be owning a stage.

Yeah.. Katrina is special. Without knowing much about her i don't think she spends even a tenth of the time Morissette is spending on training and rehearsing, but there's something about Katrina that pulls me in.

Ms. Rebecca 👍. I love your commentary on Katrina's performance. I think what was so amazing about her performance here was that she recorded this using a smartphone in her bedroom, like she always does with her videos, and still came up with a quality almost as good as the original studio recorded version in the movie, which I'm sure had gone through countless number of refinements and adjustments by recording engineers in a near perfect acoustic environment. Imagine Katrina having the benefits of all those equipment. I bet she will sound even better 😊. Thanks for your very positive commentary on her. This girl deserves a big break. The Philippines and the World need to know her.
