ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

More than in her first video of this song, she gives a taste of what she can do with it. It makes me wish she had done the entire song as herself (although this number with the impressions does absolutely work!). You're right. It's hard to imagine tiring of hearing Katrina sing it. It would work great as a finale for her. The song as it is originally composed is a bit on the short side. She could consider doing a "Katrina arrangement" of the song. Maybe sing the entire song, and use the final big note as a false ending. Continue on, and play with phrasing, riff on certain phrases, etc. Then at a certain point as the motif continues, she can introduce her band, then finish.

Ms Rebecca, my TH-cam Superstar 💕 I knew you would eventually react to this Katrina V performance 😊 This was a brilliant and very hilariously entertaining performance 😂 You MUST check out her duets with Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano in this concert. They did two numbers together: a Filipino song called Sana Maulit Muli, which was absolutely beautiful and heavenly, and a very bouncy song, Spain, where Katrina's vocal versatility was witnessed. She went staccato and/or scatting in this number 😱 You have to check out both numbers, and more 😂 It was a very successful first major solo concert for Katrina where The Queen herself, Regine Velasquez, Katrina's ultimate idol, made a surprise guesting appearance that made the theater and the fans explode 😊😄😁😂
