Yes! Artistry combined with great technique. Openness and extension when she hits the high ad lib in the middle fo the song. If you watch other videos, you will see even more creative artistry. Her rendition of Never Enough comes to mind. In that song, as well as Go The Distance, Katrina is at her best. She has the ability to sing the song and take you on a journey. She makes you feel as if she is singing about herself.
I don't know how you teach that. I don't think you can. It's a gift.

excuse me but what we just heard was her extraordinary diaphragm , not her lungs . Nobody can have such vocal range , stamina and control just by using its lungs ! Just to inform you in case you don't know diaphragm starts right in the middle of your chest and exploits the upper abdominal muscles in order to give all this power and stamina !!!!

This gorgeous lady from the Philippines sounds impossible to me ! As a self-taught singer i am not familiar with tones and musical terms in general , all in know is that every time i am listening to this performance my goosebumps have goosebumps ! She is nailing it in such a way i doubt there is someone to make it better than that !

What I like about your reaction though compared to others is that you are always on point and really has knowledge when comes to music. I like the way you pause the video and react to it base on what and how you hear the sound making sure that the singer who's singing is really doing the song is away it wont sound annoying.
