Instructions:
1. Insert the M.2 hard disk (SATA protocol) from key B or button B + M into the M2 interface on the riser card. Note: You can't use NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD.
2. Connect motherboard hard drive interface and riser card with SATA cable.
3. Plug the SATA power port of the power supply into the 15pin SATA on the riser card.

2:09 those metal tabs above the usb ports on the I/O shield are actually the ground tabs for the motherboard ports case to the I/O shield to the PC case. They are supposed to be bent inward and making contact with the ports' outer case.

also you can buy pcie x1/x4 to sata 3 cards to increase transfer rates on older 3rd gen cpu motherboard which only support sata 2 hehe

Any suggestions to upgrade the USB ports on the front of the case? It is difficult to repeatedly plugin / remove USB to the back of the computer. I think these are coming from the motherboard directly, so probably need to replace the motherboard.
I will search a solution fir that also and make a video, I also like it more to the front. No need a new motherboard.
