This is hands down one of the most impressive speedruns I've ever seen. There is so much rng to account for, and precision required to get a decent score as a casual player alone. The amount of skill needed to get a run that fast is just outright impressive!

one of my favorite nes games. played this like an addict in college and was able to get -20, -21. not sure how fast i actually played the game, but if you play this game religiously you can get really good at it and learn all of the clubs and angles to use w the different levels and directions of wind to get the ball very close to the pin on nearly every hole.

Realistically 6:45 is probably the upper limit of what’s doable by a human. Most holes you can’t actually make a holeout because only certain wind speeds allow for it. My sum of best is around 5:20
When I first played this... I hit the meter to start... and the power... but never knew you had to hit it again to get the ball to move. That was a frustrating hour. (eventually I learned). but this... was fun.
