Feels like it'd be in character for Walt to either somehow be maintaining a safe and passable speed while "flooring" it, or getting stuck in gridlock in the worst moment of his life
@@betterwatchtv that just makes it funnier. Stunt driving a "speeding" vehicle while needing to maintain a regular speed while a cop is dead eying you from the passenger seat sounds really uncomfortable
This episode has the biggest reveal in the entire series by far. Not only is it the last time we see Huell, but his last shot finally reveals his ability to see into the fourth wall. His look directly into the camera was not a mistake, this was actually Vince Gilligan revealing that Huell could see the audience, making him the most powerful character in Breaking Bad. If you ask me, I think the next Breaking Bad spinoff will revolve around Huels ability, it might be better than Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul combined.
"if only hank had made this call on the road, things could have gone very differently" god, i've actually never thought about that, that's a very depressing thought
Michael Bowen is totally overlooked for his performance as Jack Welker. Commited as hell, he lost a lot of weight to look appropriately creepy combined with his jerky, lizard-like body language and very odd charisma. Add the fact that Michael researched white power prison gangs extensively which comes across clearly through his performance. The warped "moral code", inhuman viciousness and expression of power through extreme violence. He played the part to perfection in my opinion, as well as being an overall underrated actor. I wish they gave more scenes to the most evil and villanous group in the BB universe.
He's absolutely terrifying and viscous as hell, I guess it's hard to stand out when you're working with this high a caliber of actors but I agree he was very good, just thinking of him now makes my stomach turn lol
Idea: In Ozymandias you should have Jack's gang dig up a "barrel of 6 month members" (or 1 year members) and then Jack says "I'm leaving you with a barrel of new members" where you list all the new members
Broo I’ve been watching your videos for a bit and just assumed you were really famous but then I saw you had 50k???def hope for you to blow up even more these video are amazing
4:07 I find it really funny how hilariously and obviously fake that Jesse brains pic was, but for Huell who's scared out of his mind and knows what Walt can do, it terrifies him
We are entering the pinnacle of television!!! Still absolutely baffled by how you edit, factcheck and record all of these in ONE WEEK.. absolutely insane. ❤
I just realized that Walter is involved in the death of another one of Jesse's love interests by leading Jack and his crew to Andrea. Hopefully Jesse can find lasting love in Alaska now that Walt isn't there to make sure she dies.
I'm really proud to be a member of this channel. It is by far, the best channel on the internet, and everybody should donate to ensure the quality of this type of entertainment. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the 1 year shoutout! I'm proud to be among the longest standing members! This series is really my favorite content on youtube and having a shoutout in an amazing episode like this feels great! (Though, now i'm thinking i should've waited a week back then so i could get into ozymandias ) Keep up the great work. Looking forward to another year of the best entertainment on youtube!
9:30 "actually you're lying Jesse. See, if you actually burned my money, it would light up as purple because in case someone would find and pretend to burn them to lure me out, I glazed every single bill with potassium chloride. A little tweak of chemistry."
“In case someone would find and pretend to burn them” why would he have to pretend to burn them if he actually found them? They were only pretending because they couldn’t burn them for real.
This video is reasonably Huell approved. So much fun, I appreciate all the great work. There is a 2 hour documentary all about ozymandias. You probably already knew that, but I highly suggest watching it. It was included on the Blu ray set.
Breaking Bad represented tracking devices perfectly. You cannot actively track someone without a transponder. A device that transmits an active signal at all times. You CAN pull GPS data stored locally on a device, which was formed from data passively received from GPS satellites. LoJack is a transponder that both stores and transmits its GPS readings. The magnet thing Walt placed on Gus' car was not. The rental company could have easily had GPS local storage in the van, it would be very cheap, maybe a few hundred dollars. That's why it was believable to Walt.
For upcoming final episode, I gotta say, when the flashback of jesse making the wooden box popped up, I was surprised, cause when he was talking earlier in the story abt it (in season 3 I think?), I always thought that story was made up, and the hard teacher in it was a stand-in for Walt and his chemistry lessons instead (the whole "apply yourself" bit), so I didn't think it's something that actually happened
Honestly its kinda crazy that we are already almost at ozzymandies.I still cant believe you can make the videos so good with the still being weekly.Cant wait for next week
At 1:36 you can see the initials TVZ (Townes Van Zandt) on the side of Jesse Plemons right index finger. Likely an oversight, or maybe not? After all, we know how Todd is REALLY into music...
R.I.P to Bryan's watch strap Next week is a great episode (not my favorite though, that goes to "Say My Name") and also has my favorite detail/facts! 1. Writer Moira Walley-Beckett plays an Uncredited Extra (so you think) but when she appears, her writing credit pops up! 2. Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn, AND--previously mentioned writer--Moira Walley-Beckett, won an Emmy for Ozymandias! 3. Finally, Guillermo del Toro REALLY wanted to direct the episode. When he asked Rian Johnson, Johnson replied "Yeah, sorry, I am the one who gets to f*ck the prom queen" Another great banger, for a Snow Day up in Wisconsin as well!
I fucking love your channel. When I found your channel, I was in a really dark place. I just know that I can always look forward to another episode. I feel like your channel has followed me through some really bad moments in my life thank you and please don’t ever stop what you do.
They still would have come. Hisenberg gave them exact coordinates. If I were Jack, I would think that was odd (in a pre-google maps era especially). So, I'm gonna go over to see if he's doing alright just to be double sure. He's about to cook for me, so I better make sure he's doing okay. At worst, he would have sent maybe 2 or 3 guys out just to scout the area at least.
I've been watching a lot of Breaking Bad analysis videos and your channel is my favorite out of all that I've seen. I'm especially excited for your Ozymandias video, thanks for your hard work
Todd's marksmanship declined pretty sharply in a short span, considering he nailed poor little Drew Sharp from like 30+ feet not too long before this. #WheresHuell
1:26 imagine Lydia going for it, and we get a vacation episode where Jack's crew boards a plane to the Czech Republic and, what, try to smoke on the plane and intimidate people in a racist manner for a bit? Or, scary thought, does Jack have connections in Germany/Europe that would travel to Lydia's buyers?
Jack and the gang got there really fast. In season 5 episode 2 Walt inferred that their original cook site was a "50 mile trip to an Indian Reservation". Hard to imagine Jack's compound was on this Indian Reservation.
It's a good & bad thing that Walter didn't find out about Jesse's bluff with his money barrels to outsmart Hank. Murge Productions made this into a video with over 768k views
It's my birthday today, and it's this episode too! Funny enough, being part of this series since nearly the beginning, the scene where walt panics I panicked very hard too, it's one of those shows that with its score and cinematography that I would get anxiety or similar feelings. Dave Porter is one hell of a soundtrack guy.
Your videos are something that I'm always looking forward to every week. The membership is really worth it! Keep doing amazing stuff ✨ Can't wait for the "Ozymandias" episode!
Another goated episode remember being on the edge of my seat from how intense the ending was , I also love the Chrysler speeding scenes it's such a throwback to the first season and how far Walt has come
Honestly one of the most well written episodes of the show. The whole sequence with Walt in the car pulling all the manipulation stops on Jesse to stop him from burning the money without realizing he's confessing on tape represents his character very well.
In the original episode, when Walt drops the gun, the shot turns from Walt's front to back a few times, Walt's hand positions are inconsistent. BTW, excellent work man, really appreciate it. Fun to watch and excellent montage!
Here comes one of the best streaks of episodes in Breaking Bad, starting off with this awesome episode. Everything that happens after the 8:20 in this episode is phenomenal, I love the race to the money with Walt spilling his guts about everything, believing that he did it all for Jesse, to his arrest, to the amazing shootout. Never noticed before, but, although we can guess afterwards that he tried to bail during the shootout, we're actually shown at 15:07 that Jesse is starting to open the door; revealing how and when he went from inside the car to underneath it.
Them trying to film the Chrysler 300 speeding but it kept getting passed by regular traffic is unironically hilarious
Hahahahaha! In the car’s defense, they weren’t allowed to speed, and they had a police officer in the vehicle.
New Mexico ranks very commonly #1 as the state with the worst drivers, going west out of abq on the highway is practically a free for all
Feels like it'd be in character for Walt to either somehow be maintaining a safe and passable speed while "flooring" it, or getting stuck in gridlock in the worst moment of his life

Huell is a killing machine.
when's the next episode of Huell's Rules coming out anyway?
Wow, Vrabo Bince!
Better than Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, but definitely not better than Slippin Jimmy
"if only hank had made this call on the road, things could have gone very differently" god, i've actually never thought about that, that's a very depressing thought
Yeah!
I don't get why, could you explain it?
@@hellegade4789 If hank had made the call while on the road, they could've missed the confrontation with jack, todd and the other neo-nazis.
Tbf they could’ve driven past Jack on the way which would’ve been extremely awkward

I only recently realized he was Spader's muscle in Less Than Zero. In character he was completely unrecognizable. You really hated Jack, great acting.
Honestly glad someone else is giving Bowen respect for his acting, somehow despite giving such a fantastic performance no one seems to talk about him
Legend has it Huell is still waiting in that safe house...
Although we did get an update in Better Call Saul (and that one El Camino teaser)!
Or could we say, an Open House?

That entrance of the pickup truck in the rear mirror is so chilling. I'm glad you left it in the video

Walt being asked to cook for Neo N*zis is a lot like Werner Heisenberg being drafted to help the N*zis build the atomic bomb during WW2.
Yeah, great parallel!

I like to think Jesse wrote a book about the whole thing called breaking bad and published it anonymously, that’s just headcanon though
I thought it was due to a picture Jesse had of them while he was cooking for the gang.
