      I started making this video as soon as I got home on Saturday with plans to publish Sunday morning but I was so tired lol, I ended up finishing it last night (Sunday night) and uploaded/published this morning.

      Good luck! If you have binoculars or any kind of optics, use them. And you can also use your phone to take some pics of the sky, the camera will pick it more before your eyes can.
      Hope tonight goes well!

    Too cloudy tonight. Saw it yesterday, though. It was right in the middle between Venus and the star Arcturus, on a straight line. I don’t know how everyone gets these bright photos. For me it was fairly dim.

    • @Naztronomy
      @Naztronomy  13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Glad you were able to see it yesterday!
      The bright photos are just different camera settings. I have another video up with a timelapse and you can kind of see it flicker as I update the exposure times. I try my best to keep it flat but as the sky gets darker, we need longer exposures.
      A lot of photos are also post-processed to make the bright stuff brighter and the sky darker.

    Its not visible from my roof...too much city light. Venus is very bright but even the other star is very faint.

    • @Naztronomy
      @Naztronomy  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Ah I'm sorry. Any way to get on the other side of the city? Even if you can put most of the light behind you it might help.
      Or if you have Binoculars, that should help gather some of the light from the comet. That might work from the city as well.

    THANK YOU. Hahahahaha. This is what I typed on google..... "I looked to the right of Venus and then up and still couldn't find the comet." Then I hit enter and this video link popped up. Laughing...Lol

    Is this visible on OCtober 20? This is the only time that I'm free so hopefully I could spot it T_T

    • @Naztronomy
      @Naztronomy  45 นาทีที่ผ่านมา

      It'll be within the visibility range on the 20th but much dimmer than it is today. You may need to get out of city lights to see it but it's totally possible. If you have binoculars use them. And use your phone to snap pics, it'll spot the comet faster than your eyes.

      @@Naztronomy ... I hear ya. I just bought a used Canon SL3 and a Canon f/2 135mm and that was $1000. I couldn't see the comet with naked eye last night but I could see it through the camera so I was able to get a few shots. I was standing in a field freezing my ass off and I remembered your time lapse but didn't feel like hooking my intervalometer up.

    • @Naztronomy
      @Naztronomy  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I bet that 135mm is amazing!
      Better to stay warm and freeze trying to do a time lapse.
      I got lucky that it was a fairly mild evening, even though I was by the water, the breeze felt nice. It got really cold later at night and I can't see myself sticking around for a timelapse in that cold.

  • @progamernoob6964

      @Naztronomy  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Awesome! Where are you located and how long after sunset did you see it?
      I didn't see it naked eye until about an hour after sunset. My camera picked it up much earlier.

    Yeah i saw nothing other than Venus and that other star. Waited an hour after sunset nothing.

    • @Naztronomy
      @Naztronomy  14 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      Did you use your phone's camera to see if it picks up anything? If the atmosphere or light pollution is too high, it could eat the light from the comet itself.
      An hour after sunset should have been long enough. Hopefully you get some more clear skies this week to try again.

    • @DustySlickRhodes

      @@Naztronomy Well, I took another picture and couldn't tell if it was pixel disturbance from my phone camera. It was an extremely faint line of pixels where it was supposed to be located in the sky. I think that might be it.

    • @Naztronomy
      @Naztronomy  12 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      That sounds like you got it! Next time you go, if you have a phone tripod or if you can rest your phone somewhere and take a pick in "night mode" or a 10 second exposure in "pro mode" you may see even more structure.
