Can you film a replacement of that shift shaft boot right next the water pump? It was mf-er to get back in when i replaced an o-ring. Hopefully i did it right
You need to put triple guard grease all over the impeller and plate and housing. Coat it well. Triple guard is special waterproof grease for applications like this. You didnt show installing the new big o-ring in the new housing cover. You also didn't mention that you won't need those 4 bolt bushings, because the bolts you have won't fit through them.
I’m so confused. I think I have my impeller fins going the wrong direction because I’m no getting any water through my pee hole and all me tests show I have no clogged lines. Which direction should they be bending if I’m holding the housing in my hand and looking at the impeller? This way- curved to the right ( --or to the left ) 0 0. ). (
I'm sure you already figured this out since the post was 9 months ago. But for others... you don't turn the housing... you turn the shaft clockwise as you push the housing down. He should have been more clear about that.
Best by far, you explained everything very clearly , THANK YOU
Straight to the point...perfect video..thank you sir
What are the little o-rings for?
Great video.

@@craigmayhan4009 its not your fault Craig, the video is missing detail. and HE NEVER RESPONDS so dont bother...
What was that part number
Great videos! Do you have plans to do a 100 hr service (including a water pump swap) on a Yamaha VF200 SHO?
Pounds of torque ?
What kind of grease do you use in this video?
Does. The impeller change direction when you use reverse so that it won't matter which way the legs are facing when you install it?
That shaft only spins in one direction. It's the gearing in the lower unit that reverses the prop direction.
i have a 1994 25hp. How similar is the process?
I'm from Brazil I like your videos very well congratulations
Don't you turn the housing counterclockwise when you install it onto the impeller?

We did not see you removed the lower unit or reinstall it.
