So it’s literally an engine without combustion
I saw a guy building a compressor out of engine
@@prodigalson2670 I saw a guy build a 4 stroke engine out of a freezer refrigerant compressor cylinder and piston
Yes. After all, those who know, will always tell you that an internal combustion engine is just an air pump.
Reverse engine, actually. Instead of harvesting energy from chemical bonds, you harvest electrical energy and trasmute it into pressurized energy.
Yes pal
Someone translated the subtitles for this video in Dutch. Many thanks to him !
thank you
Ji
I finally understood the Applications of the Carnot engine. Thank you!
Next video is coming soon!
Good
An excellent introductory to compressors.
This is really informative. Thanks.
Great great video mate !!!! Very informative and very professional
Concise & informative.
Excellent explanation and introspection
It’s very good explanation thank you
Thanks for the clarification
Excelente video !!!! Parabéns e obrigado!!
Someone translated the subtitles into Turkish. Many thanks to him.
love that crankshaft
Thank you for this video
clearly explaining video , thank you
Thanks for useful information!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING
interesting❤❤👍
thank you😊
love&respect from Gilgit-Baltistan😊
one question i have, does the air compressor works on the same principle of a bicycle air pump, where there inlet and outlet valves, as in when when u push the inlet valve opens and when u pull the the outlet calve closes...thx
Clearly explained
Nice one
Amazing tutorial. Thank you so much 👏🏿
hi - thanks
And I always thought there was a ‘Roots’ type compressor such like they use on car engines. Nice video 👍🏼
It’s called a screw compressor
How come i just understand, really great
I like to see the animation and cross-sectional view, that's really helpful, thank you =P
such comment we like :-)
Thank you very much for teaching i like this video
Well done it's a very interesting video. Greetings from Colombia
Excellent explanation
great video.
I wonder why the grooves on the rider rings are slanted?
I liked your rotator air compression idea.
Dude, the video is demonstrating pump technology that was literally patented in the 1870's.
Rotary vane pumps are probably the most widely used pumps on earth, and you watched this video and thought
“huh, this guy has some neat ideas”?
Thanks for making this video..very useful

Thank you. I am also modeling a air compressor and I am finding a way how to connect compressor to air tank. Even you also help me how exactly compressor looks. Thanks again
Thanks for your interest
2:00 - how is the air cooled between stage 1 and stage 2? Looks like the air passes through metal tubing, wouldn't it be better to pass it through a radiator?
I love engineering...
"How works an air compressor?"
Compressor work by squish air
XLNT comment ;-)

Excellent
Дякую авторові. Корисна інформація для студентів і школярів.
Good information…I subbed
you guys are the best!
thank you friend
Hats off to u man !!
:-) thanks
Very nice video, I had a video for digital pressure switch, good option to alternative mechanical pressure switch, welcome review
congratulations! for the video !!! a hug directly from Brazil !! Parabéns!! Muito bom!!
Oi amigo - em breve vou abrir uma nova playlist "videos em portuguese"
@@learnchannel-TV ficaremos felizes, o conteúdo do canal é muito bom!!!
Very very informative
Obrigado pelas legendas !
obrigado pelo comentario
Thank you great video wish you success
Thank you friend
How does in the last compressor - these rotor plates are changing their length?
/edit
Oh i see the springs now but I wonder how strong they have to be to keep this air and how the outer shell is protected than from scratching..
謝謝分享!
Thanks. Good job!
thanks
Thank you so much
Air compressor ,
Future energy solution to self -respect Engineers...
Good one. Thanks
hi - thanks
Please make video for hermatic reciprocating compressor
Nice, I know how it works now.
Awesome video!!!!
thanks
It is better to insert cooler stage between compressor unit and pressure tank. Cooler stage allows moisture condensation in compressed air so we'll get dry air. Dry air will provide better result in spray-paint and cleaning.
Cheers from Indonesia.
That is right for big compressors
good job
thanks,this is good video.
But how do we convert to stirling engine
Sir if provide air pressure into the suction pipe from other source, then the piston will stroke or not?
Nice info
I just concern on the crankshaft counterweight. I don't see it in video. Nice video though
Sir, Can we use single pressure pump with compressed air tank and vacuum tank simultaneously ?
My boss, you are the real bwanaz
good job broooo
verygood.sir
THANKSGIVING
Greetings from South Africa .
I really enjoyed this video except at 3:10 ,where you said divers use diaphragm compressors to fill their cylinders.
No no no no no no no!
We use multi-stage high pressure compressors - 200 - 300 bar / 3000 - 4500 psi in our air tanks.
That's a bit much to demand of a diaphragm pump. they are happier at 125 psi - 9 bar.
Om shanti.😇🙏
Please make a video on - How the compressor of an Air Conditioner works
that is a good idea, we will write it in our To-do-list. Next video will be soon single phase induction motor.
@@learnchannel-TV subbed your channel
@@stillthebest9110 well done :-)
compressors in air conditioner aren't different from any other kind of compressor.. but they compress different fluids instead of simple air. The whole functioning of a fridge or an air conditioner is more complex and interesting :)
My compressor starts working and builds pressure up to 150psi but sometimes during work it will not start and won't keep tank charged. Sometimes it turns on only for a few seconds then goes quiet. Sometimes I hears something that it wants to start like air going somewhere through the pipe for about 2 second and then quiets and stays like that. Fails to keep up pressure in tank when I use it. Pressure goes low as 50psi but compressor doesn't start. Then I had to open drain valve to release remaining air pressure in the tank. Disconnect it from AC power for few minutes and it starts working again build up to 150psi again. I don't hear any air leaks. What could be wrong? How to fix?
sounds like you need a new pressure switch which determines when the compressor how much air it makes and then turns off . they work similar to a set of points in your car and are wear out often with bad power. also do not plug your compressor into an extension lead. this can cause the electric motor to "trip"
Damn those compression strikes!!!
Good job
thank you
Thanks
I wonder moving direction of Weight balance should be opposite direction of piston.
That was awesome
Those crankshaft counterweights are gonna cause a fuckton of vibration. XD
@@sonacphotos Except that the connecting rod is connected to the wrong side of the crank on the animation.
Correct
Amazing
thanks
좋은 채널입니다
감사합니다
Nice 👍💞
good job.
If you need good electric motor supplier ,then we are here support you
single phase or three phase motors ,all are available.
Nice work👍
thank you friend
Superb
Hi - Thank you
Super bro..

Thank ypu very much! Very clear video
Can you make a tutorial for modeling this
شكرا ، شرح ممتع
شكرا لك يا صديق
Good
We need a genuine Manufacturer of Piston type reciprocating air compressor with parts, please.
amazing...
Hi thks
Amazing videos....may i know what software you used to create all these videos? Thanks
I use Blender
Thanks! Great!

thank for your video!
please! What software did you use to make this video?
Thanks - This video was made with Blender!
Is it the cold or hot air compressor?
why the refrigerator doesn't use compressor like the last one / vane compressor? doesn't its looks more efficient? explain me why please
Thanks a lot
thanks for comment
Anyone else 13 and trying to make an air compressor for a cannon to shoot candy at kids for Halloween?
No johnathan
Not specifically what you said but I am interested in making a compressor
you sound like fun 😂
Thank you Learnchannel! Very cool
thank you!
Mantap
Wow! I'm compressed!...
I meant "impressed".
3:46 - but the rotary compressor would have some pulsation, no? The vanes are discreet, and the air flow is not perpendicular to the vanes.
Thx sir
Cool
