Whilst I was watching this the wife walked past and said, ‘Wow someone worse than you at DIY’ thanks Dave you’ve made my day.😂😂 It is going to look awesome though. 👍
So satisfying to see others struggling with DIY stuff, like caulking guns. It cheers me up as I don't feel like the only idiot in the village. But I do love that flooring.
OMG Dave I am buckled watching your DIY. If in doubt take a hammer to everything Lol. You got there in the end young man. Its looking great and well worth the effort.
Dave, you muppet! 🤣 You trying to open that bottle was both hilarious and painful to watch. The garage is looking amazing though, I can't wait to see the finished product. Cheers mate, great video as always.
I love the floor - however after time wouldn't the floor tiles build up with mud and dirt? wouldn't you have to take them apart to clean them every so often?
Hello so the plan is to get the worst of the cleaning done outside and bring it in. As long as the dirt is dry the vacuum cleaner will easily pick it up. Also using a car dryer to blow it out to one side of the room works a charm 👌
That was a fun 12 minutes, thanks Dave. I have to say though, I was watching from between my fingers. I'm glad you're safe! All the best with the new unit, looking forward to the new content.
Dave’s Epic DIY should be your next channel! We all struggle at times until shown how to do it, but that unit is EPIC! Glad man flu passed now too. Well done
You have nailed it dave, looks really good👍, love them halo lights it’s given me an idea about changing out the boring fluorescent tubes I have in my garage.
Epic!! You remind me of me when it comes to DIY. How we can clean a car so well but be useless at everything else, I don’t know 😂. The unit is looking amazing. Love that flooring.
Once again a fantastic and informative video Dave. Looking very good, I couldn't stop laughing you should make it into a sitcom "Dave's DIY show" or "Epic Adventure"
I think you got that DIY lark all sorted, no worries mate. Maybe that saw wasn't big enough for cutting the caulk tube. Im no expert but cut a tip off the screw on bit, its much easier and less messy. Looking good though. Will you be able to pressure wash inside, with that floor?
It's a good thing you're a Boss at detailing cars! Maybe Mrs. Epic can show you how to operate the gun properly 😂 Love your channel. Cheers from the US!
If you are looking for an electrician, I am based in Morden and happy to help. Also use a Stanley knife to cut the ends off your tubes that was provided for the adhesive you used.
Few challenging moments there bud but you are getting there bit by bit it's coming together nicely looks truly insane loving the flooring and them lights finish it of nicely
@@epicautomotivedetailing from how it looked and from now you can tell you have put some hard work into it looking forward to seeing it when it's all done
Hi, I am no DIYer, but your ineptitude was breathtaking. Using a great big rusty wood saw to cut off a plastic cap! You could have done yourself a serious injury. Studio is looking good though😊👍
I’m sure you’ve already been told 100 times but I couldn’t find a comment saying it. Basically you just want a Stanley knife aka utility knife, cut the tip off the tube level with the thread, then screw the nozzle onto that thread. Then cut off some of the nozzle at a 45° angle with the knife. If you want a bigger hole which is advisable for thicker adhesive like fix all, then you just cut more of the nozzle off :)
The garage will look great I’m sure when it’s done!👌 I fitted out mine a few years ago at home, it’s better than most people lounge😂 Got a nice 75” Sony OLEG tv in there with sky, Netflix, Amazon prime to watch while doing cars👌
Great video Dave, you should of got the Snow Foam King to help you, he would of bought you some fake choccy bars lol !!!! Glad to see you've still got all your fingers buddy !!! all the best :)
Hello Dave, that looks awesome,it has really taken shape, the floor colours suit it very well,I've wondered how them lights work and snap on is a good idea.
Try pushing the Caulk Gun instead of pulling - With a consistent squeeze action the sealant will stay on the surface and not lift as when being pulled. A bit like applying foam bottom to top with a pressure washer 🤓
Looking great Dave, BUT!!!! oh my god !! Your diy skills are how can I say this without offending you 🤔 not quite up to your valeting skills!!! flippin hilarious , couldn't stop laughing😅😅😅 Keep up the good work Dave
I would say Stanley knife to cut the top off the glue tubes, but I’m not sure you’re ready for a Stanley knife yet Dave 🚑😂 Garage looks the dogs dodahs though.

Di water vessel for a last rinse or a blow dryer? I’m leaning toward a di vessel for final rinse especially as we’re now heading in to the warmer months.
Yes sure. I'll be 100% honest. So far this has cost me £200. Paint and carpet that's it. The rest is all part of people doing me favours or me going into business. The channel is a huge asset for me so I gave me the opportunity to collaborate with companies where we all benefit from the unit 👌
@@epicautomotivedetailing it feels like something attached to the paint, it's only on the drivers door. I can't see anything but I can clearly feel it. We have had a lot of resurfacing around here
