I just did mine. Went with power stop z23 front and rear. Im still amazed at well my 19 coupe ex-t stops now. Im also amazed at how long the factory pads lasted. 57,000 miles. Honestly the oem rotors looked fine. I probably could have just cleaned up the calipers and slide pins , and got new pads. I wanted all new just incase though, plus a bit better stopping power with the ceramic pads.
Great video, liked how you showed the bedding.. now once you cooled them off on highway how was the breaking afterwards? Did you feel the difference compared to the old ones?
First off Greta video! So I ordered the same brand but the rotors did not have any labels on which side to put them on so I’m kinda of confused on which side I put them in! Did your rotors come labeled or how did you tell which side to put them on?
Whats up sal. Bro i jave a question, when changing brakes either front or back. Would i need to bleed the brake fluid after a brake change?? Or can that be done at another time
Thanks for the vid. I just ordered the same model for my civic! Nervous about installing them considering the mixed reviews. Have you experienced any squeeling, grinding or abnormal noises since installing? Also, how have your break pads been holding up so far? thx
Hey, I pretty much have the same setup but still have the sipatech brake pads and not positive plus. My brakes recently started sounding like metal to metal when it’s hot. I also do track and mountain runs. Is my pads done for? It still has 8mm, maybe I can try scraping it on a cement floor to “resurface it” Also the pad shims are super loose idk how to fix it. Thanks
@@Sals_Garage after closer inspection atm. I see a small vertical crack from the hub and up. You think this will cause it to have a grinding/squeal? th-cam.com/users/shorts53sG3Fe808M?si=NVRx5Zziek4XmtdO
i feel like you rushed this video but nice. I would've used some copper paste on the pads and brush the rotor mounts with a wire brush to make a flush fit | Also don't you need to spray the rotors with brake clean?
@@Sals_Garage nah for sure. I used your other videos to help me replace mine. I just recently bought the rotors. I’m confused on why you didn’t use brake cleaner on them and just use pure heat
Our first video of 2024! 🎉🎉 happy new year everyone!
Great video, hubby!❤❤

Hey how are your rotors/ brake pads holding up?
Can you link them?
@@ajantaj not good. Been 6 months and they suck!
You shouldn't use a hammer to install the pads as you could damage them, I recommend that you clean your hardware throughly to ensure proper fitment.
@@wolfguard1180 thx for sharing
Been some time now how they holding up and do the pads still stop on a dime.
Just thinking about getting some.
Thanks in advance.

@Sals_Garage ok cool now just gotta figure out the pads looking at the carbon fiber ceramic power stops but still doing some research

Thank you for posting a video….I’m thinking of buying a set for my Acura TL….just wondering how they are so far….any noise or squeaks
Anytime! They are awesome so far. No noise, great braking performance, and low dust. Good luck 👍
Awesome and very helpful video! Which model civic is this on?

These rotors are bi directional so they fit any way you want. Thanks for watching!

Hi! You don’t need to do that at the same time. Brake fluid change can be done another time when needed. th-cam.com/video/gwl45b_bEnc/w-d-xo.html
