- I mean who doesnt like Korean food?! First time making Korean Sticky Ribs and im happy to share they were a success! We’ve had these at a bunch of different places but Tommy’s Tavern in NJ makes our favorite❤️ finding a recipe where we liked all the ingredients was a little tricky but im glad i made them alla Maddalena lol! Once again this is an easy recipe and an even easier way to step up your summer BBQ game! but you have to have a food processor or a handy dandy @breville blender! I have had mine for so long and I was so excited when I remembered that I took it with us! I have two questions for our Korean friends and family, what is the authentic recipe and is this more of a Korean- American dish? You have to give these a try and let me know how you make them! Korean Sticky Ribs
Makes 1 large rack of ribs
For the marinade
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 6 thin slices of fresh ginger (keep in mind ginger is strong)
- 1 big pear
- 1 medium onion
- 4 garlic cloves
For the glaze
- 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce
- 1/3 cup of soy sauce
- 1/2 cup of honey
- Splash of rice vinegar

You said oyster sauce and it’s also in the transcript but the recipe says hoisin sauce. It’s a bit confusing but I believe you mean it is hoisin sauce. Can you please clarify which it is. Also, do you cover the ribs or cook uncovered? Thank you.
