Please tell us your opionion on "rebounding" or bouncing on a mini trampoline for post-menopausal women. It is said to improve bone strength and have overall health benefits but I'd really like to know what you say about it.
WOW!!! I so appreciate you, Dr. I have been strengthening my glutes, and I absolutely feel the difference, in a few weeks. I'm working all the exercises your suggesting. I don't know if I have hip arthritis, but my right and left knee have the arthritis and the right hip is weaker. None the less your exercises are life saving for me. ❤😂🎉😊 THANK YOU SO MUCH, FOR STEPPING OUTSIDE THE BOX 📦 🙌 😍 🙏
Been doing PT and rehabilitation exercises. I don't gain a lot of strength because I have labrial tears in both hips along with arthritis. The more weight I add the more pain I feel. So it's a catch 22. I may need surgery but I am trying to avoid it. Its so frustrating.
Wish I lived near your office! I am working on the glutes, as I've had a right-hip mobility issue and knee issues since my 20s. I'm 72 now. I've also had lower lumbar surgery due to congenital problems and arthritis. I need to balance my exercise between these 3 issues.
Right on point. I have come to this realization in a lagging sorta way.... Strengthen as soon as possible....or at least get it in with everything else you do.
So balancing exercises (and vibration plates) should probably also be avoided with " bone on bone" knee osteo arthritis ? Please confirm as PT want me to do them and I fear that could be harmful . I do your glute exercises to prevent knee replacement and pain
I been working on my gluts. I'm not understanding for my problem 3years down can't climb up stairs or can barley walk up hills cause of pain, my feet point outwards I would think they would be pointed inwards if the front muscles were dominant. But I had problems for years. Don't need Cain on level ground but uneven surfaces.
Dear Dr David, I get your point about the importance of strengthening and correcting the muscle imbalance. However, I also have a problem with my proprioception since undergoing three foot operations roughly ten years ago. I slipped up in not doing the prescribed proprioception exercises and now struggle with my balance. Would you recommend resuming these exercises (which are very similar to balance exercises) in addition to strengthening the glutes which I'm currently doing for a hip and knee bursitis problem? Or would you still say I must avoid balance exercises? Regards and many thanks for a your wonderful videos!
If I came to you're office could you do a through evaluation and set me up on all of the proper exercises I need? After listening to you many times, I doubt any trainer at the gym I go to could hit the areas I need help with much accuracy.
I get what you are saying. The balancing muscles are no longer activating so that only the overused muscles are responding to the body's need to stay upright.
Seven minutes in still waiting to see or hear solutions. I use a balance board. I have tripped and was stunned that I kept falling forward and my usual ability to brace and right myself was totally gone. I guess I need to find another channel for strengthening exercises.
Can you tell me which muscles I messed up when I slipped on moss while walking, I must have been strong enough as my left leg went sky high but I was able to catch myself before I fell to the ground. 9 months later after a lot of exercises I can’t put much weight on it, and now the clicking and popping are getting so loud, in certain movements the noises coming from my hip, sounds like a ratchet yow, and now my knees are acting up as well as my left ankle. HELP MY HUSBAND THINKS I MIGHT NEED A HIP REPLACEMENT, AND WHAT THEN BOTH KNEES AND AN ANCLE NO WAY.
Doc sorry to bother you so much 😅😅 but in my country doctors are so bad , when i ask them a question they dont know how to answer my knee OA problem 😅😅 so gonna ask something about glucosamine sulfate chondroitin sulfate this supplements are good or not for Joints especially , for knee OA cases , also i considering takimg vitamin C,K,M + omega 3 supplements , i know you are busy doc but i am gonna wait for your recommendation ablut it , i am not taking them yet to be sure 😅😅😅. Thank you Doctor. Also i do some of your glute exercises and i found some relief but i believe that human body is a machine and can heal itself maybe not 100% but yeah you got the point .

Hello @twobraincells4364, yes this is a key point in healing things! Calming things down and building strength is KEY

This is timely for me because I was starting to do balance exercises so I will stop immediately.

Is rebounding okay to use with moderation for some one who has a fracture in L2 n bulging disk in L5?
Thx🌺

So, no examples of what to do to strengthen glutes? How much $$ is the "course"?
He has everything for free there, minibridges, modified clams, hydrant exercises, glutes squeezes etc
