Great vid man. Awesome job with the install! So cool to see you got some noticable results with the aftermarket ecu. Nothing wrong with 100mph for now, although that might pickup with those other mods you got coming 👍
Thanks bro, yeah i really didnt expect the top speed to change since im still very restricted 😅 but i really hope you’re right though, hope that 💯 gets a little bump after i install all the other parts when it comes in. And I sure noticed a big difference in throttle response, specially on the lower rpms. Dukee is no longer choppy 😃
Fastest I’ve had my Duke is 107, but since I’ve gained like 20 lbs in the last year, the last time I took it to the track it was only hitting like 103-104. I still need to get a piggyback tuner though.
Great work... How many RPM's do you need to take off now? I find it pretty snatchy down low... and then it has a flat spot and then gets going. It's still a bit touchy even when crusing along in third. Does it help with that at all ?
Thank you. With the mods, it took care of the flat spots for me and throttle response is WAY better. It runs alot smoother now through out all the rpms specially on the low rpms. I can pretty much be at idle and start releasing the clutch and it would roll and not die out like it used too. I highly recommend this mod not soo much for top speed but for longevity of the bikes engine and smoothness of the ride. And if i had to use one word to describe this mod, it would be “SMOOTH” 👍🏼
@@johnallencoloma Thanks mate, really appreciate the feedback. I'm only up to 25kms on my bike and I am not sure whether to trade it back to the dealer or not - all the jerkyness makes me a bit sick lol. It feels a bit like a yz125 that only has about 2000rpm of sweet spot lol.
The bike is for sure very torquee for such a light small bike. But if u get use to it, its a really fun bike. I love cornering with it and also doing slow speed drills. If anything, the bike is pretty much just like a dirt bike except its made for the streets.
Oh yeah for sure, that's why I got it. I ride a crf250x which is well setup for hard enduro with rekluse etc, so always mono;ing and pivot turns etc. I think it turns and stunts better than the duke, but it's always too smashed up for the road. I thought the Duke might be better for getting women pregnant :-D
Lol let me see Im 210 lbs 😅🤷🏻♂️ and where i did this run is high in elevation. so it all depends on the riders weight, elevation of the location. Plus the road may look flat in the video but its actually a slight uphill
