@@Jamal-vy9to you ask the wrong question. If Jesus is the Lord, and He was praying to God the Father, then where do you stand? The Father says nobody comes to Him except by His Son. The question is, do you have faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

    Love the Garden of Gethsemane!
I was lucky to have gone there. We walked along places where Jesus had been, and part of the path that the cross was carried. All along the way we would stop to see something interesting from that city's history. The tomb, the place where the cross was stood and part of it was still kept, also the tablet of stone where Jesus's body was prepared for the tomb. Many people were praying and doing rituals of sorts. I on the other hand, having being blessed with the experience of the Holy Spirit and knowing when the presence of it is strong. I was actively seeking it out in each place.
For me, it was not until I was in that garden. The same Olive Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus Christ drank of that Bitter Cup. Then I felt the Sacred nature. Then I knew I was on Holy ground. It seemed as very few had any incling of the importance while I was there with the tour group. They moved on into a building next to it.
Sitting there in a corner out of the way, I could only bask in the Light of Christ that filled my whole soul! I prayed for thanksgiving for that most important event. If you ever get the chance to be there, listen with your heart to in quiet humility. It will come as a witness in any Holy Ground you find yourself in.

I find it must be Holy Ground, for the battle Jesus waged there. It was in Gethsemane that He wrestled with His destiny and yet still accepted it. If that battle had not been won we could not be saved and reconciled with the Father.

One major thing that was left out on this, the reason for his suffering in the garden, what the real cause of it was and what was so much more than his betrayal, was that this is where he suffered the Atonement,
"Jesus climbed the hill to the garden still,
His steps were heavy and slow, love and a prayer took him there to the place only he could go Gethsemane, Jesus loves me, so he went willingly to Gethsemane, he felt all that was bad wicked or sad, all the pain we would ever know, while his friends were asleep he fought to keep his promise made Long ago, Gethsemane Jesus loves me, so he gives his gift to me from Gethsemane, the hardest thing that ever was done, the greatest pain
that ever was known the biggest battle that ever was won, this was done by Jesus, the fight was won by Jesus " - Gethsemane 🎶

The Bible doesn't say that he sweat blood it says he's sweat as though it were great drops of blood. I've seen people sweat where it's just dripping off their face and I think that this is what explains what happened.

      @shannonm75 5 ปีที่แล้ว

It depends on how you interpret the word 'as' . As can mean sweat changed to drops of blood. It wouldn't make sense to compare mere sweat to blood, which indicates more distress he experienced.

“Hematohidrosis” is a condition in which capillary blood vessels that feed the sweat glands rupture, causing them to exude blood, occurring under conditions of extreme physical or emotional stress.

DELILAH ROSE SILVANUS. Good morning, Delilah. Notice Rev. 1:1,
1'A revelation by Jesus Christ, *which God gave him*, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent his angel and presented it in signs through him to his slave John,'
Jesus, given a message by his own God and Father. His is mightiest of the angels, his is THE archangel. His father is Almighty God. If that was not so, it would have invalidated his prayers, such as the one he made at John 11:41-42,
41, So they took the stone away. Then Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
42True, I knew that you always hear me; but I spoke on account of the crowd standing around, so that they may believe that you sent me.”
No disrespect intended to you at all.

      Collins Dictionary-
the act or process of making, producing, or building something, or something that has been made, built, or produced:
This very fact, that is explained at Pr. 8 is what makes the truth of John 1:1 understandable. It makes 'Let us make man in OUR image' make sense. Jesus never, ever claimed to be God. Ever. He longed to return to his father. He heard his fathers approval spoken at his baptism for all to hear. What would have been the great sacrifice if Jesus was only God in a different form? He sits alongside his father now, King of his fathers kingdom government. At the end of his 1000 year reign , after Armageddon, he
      1Cor. 15:24-28, (" " mine)
24, Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to "his God and Father", when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power.
25, For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet.⁰
26, And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.
27, For God “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that "this does not include the One" who subjected all things to him.
28, But when all things will have been subjected to him, then "the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him", that God may be all things to everyone.
Regardless of what religious traditions teach, Jesus doesn't lie. His father certainly does not lie.
He is his fathers very first act of creation and helped his father in creating all else. He had a relationship with him for eons before fulfilling his role on earth and it continues. Scripture does not lie.
      Matt. 11:27,
27, All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one fully knows the Son except the Father; neither does anyone fully know the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son is willing to reveal him.
      John 1:18,
18, No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him.
      John 1:1,
1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.
Jesus is godlike. Angelic. Divine. As are all angels. Not to be confused with Almighty God who has no beginning or end.
No disrespect meant to you, personally. I just love how clearly Scripture interprets itself.
I always wondered, when Jesus poured out his heart in Gethsemane with such anxiety because he was to die an excruciating death as a blasphemer. Having the fear that it would bring such reproach on his fathers name...if he WAS ACTUALLY God, where would that leave the sense of loving trust that is a model for us to follow? It wouldn't have the weight and would seem false.

    • @kimquinn7728
      @kimquinn7728 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@youxtuberz5229 Hello, YouXTuber z. Gabriel is an angel, an obedient one, but not Jesus in his heavenly name. That is Michael. Jesus or Yeshua is Michael's earthly name. Michael is the archangel or #1 or chief, highest in standing, angel. No other angel is spoken of as having that status. Gabriel has a role as a messenger.
The name Michael means - who is like God. Michael is a spirit, a 'divine' being, not human now no longer on earth. Spoken of as the lord and as 'mighty' but, that should never be confused as him taking the title from his father as the 'Almighty'. Only his father has that title.
Gabriel means 'Able bodied one of God'
He is the only other angel, aside from Michael, whose name is given.
He appeared to the prophet Daniel and explained visions to him.
He appeared to Zekeriah and Elizabeth and delivered the news of the child, John, who would be born. He brought the news to Mary that she would bear a child who would be the Messiah. He is highest ranking after Michael and in Scripture stands before God's throne, whereas Michael sat at God's right hand.
Other angels were sometimes asked their names but they were never revealed. For instance, Judges q3:15-21; Gen. 32:29; Judges 13:6
Even the word Satan and Devil are just descriptive titles. The honor of having his name revealed was never given to that ungrateful, disobedient one. John 8:44,
44You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a murderer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie.
So, you have Almight God with his titles and personal name; God's sons titles and names, both heavenly and earthly and the name of the angel Gabriel. Other angels are spoken of and what type of work they carry out but no personal names.
Also, yes, I am a Witness of 25 years.

Exactly, that is where Jusus was betrayed. The reason Mormons don't get my soul, is that they PREACH that that's how and where Jesus took on their burdens. They refuse to talk about the cross, and that Jesus actually had to die---like a unblemished LAMB. God required a sacrifice, blood if you will, for Jesus to take on our sins. That's the difference in Mormonism, they want you to believe you can actually be God-like. That you can actually become pure, just by living that way.

Matthew 26:39 New International Version (NIV)
39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
he fell with his face to the ground and prayed...wonder who pray like JESUS

God was a jealous angel and never gave nothing to Israel but gay activities... and it was great to king Arthur to give up what God had seen in his rob as he undress in front of lustful men with no wives... and it will not be settled as they pass over in death and heard nothing of their own blood... but came up with money to over throw Jesus kingdom and they will be crushed...

@bigmac...Good question. Every version I see says his sweat was like drops of blood, but not actually blood. Lk 22:44

Stop lying for sensationalism. Our Lord and Savior came and lived a normal mortal life and died a normal death. He was betrayed and he went along with it because Our Father didn't want him to respond. So He forgive because it was in His nature to forgive. No blood came out of His Human eyes. Judas did pay the price for his evil ambitious intentions and wicked betrayal.

I understand it's windy, but why doesn't the guy comb his hair? If you're gonna present truth as you know it, from God's point of view, why look like a derelict, unkempt? It makes what you say seem a bit trite, like your appearance. (That's not the Temple location anyway because God told Solomon centuries ago, that if they didn't keep His commandments, statutes and judgments He would take the Temple OUT OF HIS SIGHT. That very thing has happened. That behind the man is the Fort Antonia and not the former site of Solomon's or Herod's or the Third Temple location. The Third Temple today is the Church and it is a mess, disobedient to God in many doctrines... "believe it or not", to use the colloquial. )

You are believing the theory of "Replacement". This is the idea that the Church has now been placed in the position of Israel and the Jews, and that God has abandoned the Jews. This is a recent interpretation promoted by the liberal wing of the Church because of their hatred for the revised nation of Israel. The third temple is not the Church because after the Rapture, the Church is not mentioned as being on the Earth any longer. But the Bible does continue to talk about the third temple being rebuilt in Jerusalem after the Rapture.
