The first one doesn't seem to be bridezilla.
Yeah it was groomzilla.
Yeah, that's not a bridezilla; that's a person who set clear boundaries and enforced them fairly.
The First story isn’t a Bridezilla story-it’s the great escape!
I think I saw the one of the bride pov, previously during the wedding planning, the groom was watching prank videos of the groom smashing the cake in their wives faces and projecting embarrassing pictures of the bride of on the slide show. She warned him if he does it it’s over. And then the day of the wedding he did all of her expensive make done and her dress on that day was ruined. In front of everyone while everyone laughed, embarrassing her. The grooms brother berated him because he like to embarrass people as pranks so the groom always have been a man child.
Every time I listen to a program like this, it reinforces my decision to have no alcohol at our reception. I did my own flowers and made my own dress and veil, so if they didn't look right I'd have no one to blame but myself. Our wedding, though small, was wonderful, and we just celebrated 26 years married.
Story 1 - not a bridezilla!
Hate those people who want the most extraordinary and fancy flower decorations and don't want to pay the price...
My take from these stories. Alcohol and weddings don't mix. Alcohol is 'liquid stupid' not 'liquid courage'. Alcohol doesn't make you brave. Alcohol makes you so stupid that you don't care about the consequences like getting dead. So stupid as to turn an event that you payed for into a disaster.
True, they make an open bar so important at weddings but all I can imagine is all the puking going on, doesn't sound like a pretty wedding event.
I was at many weddings with alkohol and none of the people there did stupid shit. People just need to know when to stop drinking. I've noticed that most people in the US for example are drinking to get wasted. In Europe(at least in counties I've been to) is more drinking with friends and family and having fun.

I know of a Southern Baptist Church in Maryland that will cancel the wedding on the spot if anyone in your wedding party is drunk. They have it written in the contract.

FR. I know a couple who had been together since college. No engagement ring. Simple gold wedding band. Just in mayor's office. They went in the morning, go to work in after noon and then had a nice weekend getaway. the 2 of them only had one account in FB. They only post happy birthdays and happy anniversary's in FB - 15 yrs and counting
