BS story Eviction notice means "Failed to pay as agreed"!
Picturing Gene Wilder singing: "Come with me And you'll be In a world of OSHA violations..."
My worst was head of maintenance standing on the roof of a golf cart to change a light bulb 🤬 I made him go get a ladder.
23:04 OP should have called the local Fire Marshal or Fire Inspector about all the blocked Fire Hoses... I can almost Guarantee that when the Fire Inspector did a 'Random' Inspection of the Plant, he'd see not just the blocked hoses, but all kinds of other Fire Safety Code Infractions and give their Ticket Book a serious workout...
21:17 OP should have called OSHA on the Company that continued to allow (and/or encourage) the Welders to work next to unshielded Explosive Gas Cylinders...LOTS of Criminal Charges likely would have resulted from that one as well as MASSIVE OSHA Safety Violation Fines...
My brothers former employer tried to contest my brother's unemployment benefits by saying that his firing had been justified. He had been fired for not showing up for a scheduled shift. Showing a schedule that proved the point. My brother had actually taken the actual schedule and copied it on the company copier. The schedule was in the handwriting of the boss. They had wanted to hire a cheaper employee to fill his position.
14:00 OP was somewhat foolish...tell the Idiots that the Rules apply even to them and are there for a DAMN good reason the first time, then Write them Up for violating Health & Safety LAWS for EVERY Violation after that first Courtenay Warning...even if it's the Directing Manager...ESPECIALLY if it's the Directing Manager! If I was OP, that's what I'd do and I'd also look up disturbingly graphic videos on You Tube about what happens when you ignore H&S Rules and the Demon Murphy is watching that day and show them THIS is why those Rules exist...THIS is why I keep Writing you up for breaking them, it's because I DON'T want to have to do the Accident Paperwork or waste my time answering to an OSHA Investigation because someone thought the Rules didn't apply to them and got themselves mangled or killed!
Not health and safety, just the office manager for a small family auction place. The sheer volume of times I saw stuff flying in the face of common sense for safety though. Like the new apprentice using a spinning chair as a foot stool, or one of the warehouse lads standing on a pumptruck while the other ran it down the warehouse, or the owner trying to repair a plugged in leaf blower, or one of the supervisors driving the forklift through the viewing area while customers were about with kids running around. The worst one was when a pallet got caught on something and broke, causing a large box to start sliding down. The flt guy shouted "falling load" and one of the warehouse lads shouted "I'll get it" and started running towards it. Thankfully I was walking past and grabbed him. The box fell onto a sofa, completely obliterating it since the box turned out to be full of iron tools. The warehouse worked turned to me and said he "could have caught that if you hadn't stopped me." I never did manage to get him to understand why that would have been a bad thing.
The toilet seat one went the way it did because even though there were signs about asking for assistance, actually getting that assistance was near impossible. The amount of money doesn't make sense, though. There were no damages from the sounds of it. Maybe punitive? Idk, but I bet it would be lowered upon appeal.
I wouldn't have corrected them And let it go as far as they were willing to take it. Waste every dime of theirs you can.
My age away came after me because I put a garden on the side of my house. I pointed out that in their HOA paperwork I technically was not part of the HOA near neither was anyone on my side of the road. Took their lawyers almost a year to fix it they were facing massive fines if they didn't correct it or pay everyone back to dues. Sometimes the best way to screw over an HOA is just read the rules
I have to wonder how much longer HOA’s are gonna last given how many people seem to not want one.
The unmistakable sound of a cookie being dunked???? What in the actual fuck are they even talking about?!
"He won right then"? Sounds to me like he was shafted all the same with additional time loss. The state doesn't care about justice or humanity. It oly cares about extortion.
I don't know if anybody else thinks this but that woman sounds like a human trafficker Like the police should really have a talk with her about following kids home and asking questions that looks really bad
I would almost be tempted to not pay it and not tell them why I refuse to pay it. Tell them that you are taking them to court over it and do so... And then tell the judge why it is that you refuse to pay it. Get it on official record that the HOA is incompetent and doesn't know what they're doing.
Even if they were your kids if the roadway is owned by the state and it's not a private road owned entirely by the HOA then gateway has no authority to make such a rule.
“Wear your life jacket” Probably the best advice on here
"Speedy trial"? Interesting. In Canada there's now the "Jordan Rule" from 2016. Outside of either special circumstances (such as during the infamous events of 2020) or the defense deliberately stalling, in Canada, it's generally the rule that for either penal offences or summary offences ("misdemeanors" in the USA) the time limit is 18 months. For indictable offences ("felonies") it's 3 years. Everything from contested speeding tickets to accusations of murder have been dismissed due to this.
I judge people stupid enough to move into an HOA. Seriously, anybody dumbass enough to make that choice is bound to do other monumental life altering idiotic things. Do you WANT that person in your life to potentially negatively affect your life?
I agree with trentwise. Its a joke to lighten the mood, it isn't anything serious. Its like saying "dont worry, x wont bother you in the future".
HOA's are scummy and villainous, and every single one of them is just a power trip for the older and retired people who run them.
Story 4 I'm a survivor of when they go eehh what ever there's no proof without even living the cps building (child proactive service) to keep short it declared must beat the retard out of me. I kept calling 911 with after the hundredth one i went willingly and was put infront of a judge with missuse of 911. The judge just asked I can put you in jail for missuse why did you keep calling. I took my shirt off and said if this is missuse I don't know what is. Reason for removing my shirt. My body was all shades of bruising from being beat everyday for years. The judge asked for the reports from every call with the cop saying there are none since no investigation. And when asked where the damage come from with I don't know. To bad cause I was deemed guilty before investigation everyone skipped town when I went to court
First dude needs to grow up lol. Nurse made a joke
so many HOAs are awful. i was so blessed to have a good one. no crazy stupid rules. the only thing i EVER got from them, wasnt even a warning or anything lol. they just sent me a letter that literally said "We love your enthusiasm for christmas, we love christmas too! But it is march, and we really need you to take your christmas lights down please" lol i had just got lazy and forgot about them is all.
The tax bracket thing is so common. There's another story about the tax bracket myth. My mother thinks that it is a new concept. She thought it was the mythical way up until Trump's presidency and that he changed it. Wouldn't listen to me when I tried to set her straight.
Hoa's are so unconstitutional. They literally get to ignore the government with impunity
It’s your fault for moving somewhere with an HOA. I don’t feel bad for people like this anymore.
Couldn't Story 2 be declared a mistrial since bringing up something from decades which has no bearing on the current case has tainted the court.
Military dependant here, and YES military laywers arr AMAZING
"It has happened more than once..." "It has only happened twice..." 🤦♂️
I would never live where an HOA has any control never ever ever. I can't believe people can stand living in a place like that with people like that. Your house in your yard can't have any personality at all. Other people can tell you what colors you can paint your house and what kind of mailbox you can have no thank you.
This has got to be one of the best AI voiceovers. I listened over 30min before understanding why there was a full stop after every "Mrs."
Where are the lawyers and courtroom drama? Or rather, where is the real title for this video?
Hey, prior post office worker, drug dogs can walk around and that can be cause for them to confiscate it and or give you a letter with it stating you have to open it infront of certain people and you have to sign it or we cant give it to you and if you dont open it infront of said people they can 1 fine you and 2 get a search warrent. You are allowed to not accept the package/letter
Here's one: jury nullification. It's when a jury refuses to convict a person on moral grounds. This is why you often get kangaroo courts where the accused is NOT judged by a jury of their peers and instead are judged by those who will convict the person due to their own biases.
Did i just misunderstand the title or is this not at all what was advertised?
You're right.
HOAs should be illegal
corrupt judge, that unlawful stop does in fact make it inadmissable. it shouldnt have been filed as a sepperate charge at all. to the guy involved in that, sue sue sue sue SUE everyone involved, the cop, the judge, and any lawyers
Question, asking for a friend… Did you bury them together or separately? Maybe one at sea and one in the Swamp? Or maybe both together inside of a car crushing machine? My friend really wants to know.
I am a lawyer. Some influencers (big names) hired me to oversee some investments they wanted to do in Cancún, México (hotels). I told them it was going to be hard since many laws from Mx. do not allow foreigners to own the land, just establish a business but not own that part of the beach or its natural resources. They found a mexican who was able to sign the land for them and he would only ask for a small part of the business (of course it is illegal to use another name just for a loophole). The mexican dude ended up keeping everything, since they could not file a lawsuit due to the fact that they wanted to regain control/ownership over something that was impossible for them. The mexican hustled the hustlers.
14:22 so aim shotgun lower. Then it isnt a fatal trap!
That's just housekeeping! Tenants don't pay for routine or periodic maintenance.
HOA's should be illegal!
The first one is just a bunch of b.s. All it takes is a dog alerting on the package for them to get a warrant. They just got lucky and didn't get caught.
Well the guy was great tho 👍
I would have made it worse so the lawyers come down and ask me about my poor neglected non-existent kids lol
26:00 This is why the police shouldn't have violated the law to try and get easy evidence and an easy conviction. That rights violation is wrong and shouldn't be allowed, whether the suspect was accused of murder, assault, or shoplifting. And, if you don't zealously defend all defendants against such rights violations, then the police will absolutely take that advantage to violate all suspects rights in that way, every time they think it will get them the easy evidence/conviction. It shouldn't be the lawyer who feels guilty here. He righted a wrong. It should be the police that feel guilty because their choice to cut corners had real consequences.
Why would someone live in a Hitler youth neighborhood
Those banks lost the faith of their current and future costumers!
