Well, ive repaired a Rock ola juke box after watching your videos, recapped power supply, proffit setter etc and took apart and cleaned the gripper bow and assembly, just like you have on this video, otherwise it wouldve just sat there for a few more years, so many thanks for sharing your expertise Ron and Joe.
Nice.... Those older boards are such a delight... You can just run a jumper to fix it.... Feels like you could redo the whole thing if you had to.... As opposed to some modern thing 4 layers thick, with 20 zillion components packed into a space smaller than a postage stamp...... Ugh.
JOE, any reasons why they are using a "switched voltage" for the vinyl record? I'm not sure whats the point of using a switched voltage. Also when calibrating the records needle for the azimuth alignment, how are you doing the azimuth alignment for the record needle?
You have to play at least more than 5 seconds of a track to get a copyright strike, its a real shame we didn't get to hear the jukebox play at the end.

My understanding of capacitors was if you had a liquid inside, it made the cap unidirectional. Was that big silver one on a DC circuit?
