Thank you! You are the only person who has explained why the dip angle is equal to theta! I'd remembered the rule of alternate angles but forgotten that all internal angles in a triangle sum up to 180! Big relief. Even the textbook (are you also using a Bennison map in this video example?) doesn't explain where theta comes from.
Thank you, that was very clear and awesome. Congrats! But isn't the green line the top of the bed? Green line's 400m strike is the same as purple's 200m strike, wich means that green is on top.
Could you make a video on how to find apparant dip after you found the true dip i get confused what to do for apparant dip after you solved for angle of true dip and can not find a good explanation anywhere
Hi Ctherine please do you have any documents concerning the lithofacies maping using conventionnal facies triangle , i will be very grateful if you help me , i need to understand how to represente the ratios in the map ... please i am ready to give you my email at any time best regards .

Thank you so much i have a midterm exam tomorrow it's 12:39am and this was the only thing i haven't studied yet you saved my grades 😂😂😂😂😂
Could you make a video about well log correlation and interpret depositional environments?
As a student taking petroleum engineering, it's truly a great help! But I'm confused why my calculator shows -199.99m when cos(22)*200 was solved?
Kind of late but hope this helps. You're in radians. You need to switch to degrees on your calculator.
Thanks a lot mam.
upload more videos. i found these videos are so helpful 👍

Thanks a lot. Can you upload a video on how to calculate the depth of a coal seam on a map.
I want to know how to calculate angle of dip and true thickness

If I have the horizontal scale can I use Pythagorus?
Maam what about the thickness of the last bedding plane? I mean how to calculate it?
Thanks
Could u tell me how do u work the map from 0
I mean the parell lines .
What the nombers reflect to?
And how u draw it??
Thanks a lot
Nice
