Played this for 3 hours with a friend last night. Was great. A lot of potential. According to steam only 350 people were playing but we had no problem finding a match.
This finally looks like a replacement for the Phantom Forces I abandoned long ago. Simple graphics, satisfying gunplay, and interesting progression, without the iffy Roblox framerate and engine. I'll have to give it a try.
PF has gotten a lot better in that regard, it's really just a matter of getting on a server with good ping. For this category of game PF has better gameplay and movement and they have an excellent array of maps now. That said it still has plenty of flaws like zero match balancing (for skill level), poor weapon balancing, some directional audio vagueness, way too many hackers and, well, cancerous pubescent chat toxicity. Still a damn fun way to blow an hour or so if you have at least moderate skills.
The only problem with PF for me, is the roblox engine and servers. Other than that, it's really fun, and honestly has some of the best gunplay on the entire FPS market.

The nice thing about a game like this, is if you prioritize functionality, at launch you have a playable game, and every update after can be focused on improved content. I might try this out.
I love that now that we have the tech for photorealistic games and visual effects AAA studios are doubling down on graphics whole indie and smaller studios devs are doubling down on gameplay.
In some game (I forgot the name of) that was very realistic the developers decided to have a more cartoony art style because of the issues that having a realistic art style makes like the fact that a single flower pot had the same amount of code as a human player because of all the things the game had to do to get super realistic. I think it's now some anime game now.
Is always nice to see devs, especially the smaller ones, giving more attention to what matters, the gameplay. And on the case of Polygon, there's no need to have insane graphics if the gameplay is fun. Pretty cool game, will definitely download and play it!
The gameplay really isn't that great. Movement feels very floaty and feels extremely sluggish and unrefined. Map design could use a lot of work, and shrubbery needs to be toned down a bit. Gunplay is okay and progression is simple and straightforward. Graphics I couldn't care less about.
I can get almost 60 at 720p with lowest graphics settings with my 10 w mx250 But it becomes difficult to see enemies so must set shadows to medium Locked it to 45 and it runs smooth
That’s because it was BF3 before they stripped it down and changed things to avoid copyright infringement. It’s literally BF3 with different textures. It’s recycled.
1:13 this should be cardinal rule #1 of video game development. Sadly, the technology that has brought us many of the games we love today, has also killed those games we love. People used to make games that would live or die based on their story. Now it's all about multiplayer and monetization and that is one M&M flavour I do not want.
Thanks a lot mate! I was looking for a game like this. The titles I was looking for was realistic ones but this gets the job done. I recently downloaded PUBG with its 30 GB download size and I was terrified with the 128 GB of Warzone. But this game is only nearly 1.5 GB is just amazing! Again thank you so much mate!
played this for around 3 hours so far. But here's my opinion. Grind for weapons is very easy. Most difficult thing is when you join a match you need to finish it if you want leveling xp. Maps are great but limited. Around 4 domination maps. With metro being the only king of the hill map. Again still fun. 1 sniper and 1 semi-auto style gun. The other ~5 are ars. With 2 secondaries I think. Its a lot more tactical than just run around and shoot because of the usually big maps and fast ttk. Hope this helps. Recommend downloading for sure!
5:45 this surprise me. the system where you can reload while aiming. even in some AAA game didn't have this system. cool just try it. kinda fun even when you play againt higher level player with better gun you can kill them.

the thing with a lot of players these days, they tend to pay more attention to how the game looks and drool as soon as they see realistic graphics, but forget the fact that gameplay is the most important aspect of any game
I use to play it about a year ago but it became very difficult to find matches in Oceania. Looks so much better than it was before so I'm definitely going to give it another go and hope there's a good amount of players.

i’m begging you if you see this, buy this game ! got it last night while looking for a survival game but got sidetracked and got this instead, got addicted straight away and stayed up until 4am playing it with my friends, when you squad up with friends you can spawn on each other and it makes it so much better, it’s like a low poly battlefield with really clean gameplay and satisfying kills and hit markers ! get it now or you’re stupid

Some of my friends don't really understand why I sometimes play shooters in Roblox. although the graphics is bizzare. The gunplay is actually fun. It keeps you entertained although you are doing something that is repetitive for like 2 hours. The problem with modern shooters, the gunplay are usually not that great and the graphics can sometimes be an issue towards the system you are using giving you low framerates and stuff.
i played the game for about an hour and bro, just no, i am colorblind and have so much color mixes, this became the most difficult game i ever played in my hole life (even more then dark souls)!! the game is pretty fun to play alone and with friends, have some beautiful grafics even for o low budget PC, if you a have a potato computer you can play with some frame skip in low but still an good game!!

I just think that you can spawn on people and respawn so fast that lobbies seem very full when there aren't as many players as you think

Be careful there are some cheaters on polygon
just wait for battlebit. Polygon is still lacking a lot in content and polish and it seems its gonna be a while before they get it down.

if they invented a drug that gave you a constant feeling of beaming someone cross-map with an M4, i'd be lost to this world
All the maps are remakes of BF4 maps, I love it.
