Hi, Does this base variant lasts for years considering basic usuage of continuous web browsing, media consumption ? How long do you think it can last ? About a course of at least 5years ?

@Varun, enjoyed the review. A quick question: how good/bad is the touchpad? I would like to switch from an older macbook air and while I do not expect quite mac like touchpad experience, a good input device would be reassuring.
Also, any heating issue on standard productivity/zoom calls?

With the P series processor's in i5 13th gen, with 13 to 14-inch screen size which ultra book laptop you recommended.

    Asus has disappointed me:
1st. No charging from both sides.
2nd. Losing the AMD better cpu in favor of Intel much weaker cpu and especially gpu.
3rd. Sticking to 16:10 and not moving towards the more productive 3:2 aspect ratio like microsoft and huawei and the amazing hp elite dragonfly g3 or g4.
4th. No one needs an audio jack these days.
    Good moves:
    1. Slimming down
    2. Adding a USB-A port.

I'd argue that the 3.5mm headphone jack is still quite useful, even today. As for the aspect ratio, I feel it is a personal preference, though a different lineup with 3:2 would be appreciated for sure to give consumers the option.
For the performance, Intel's 13th-gen is actually quite powerful, and considering this is a mobile laptop, you won't feel disappointed by any means.
Lastly, the lack of charging from both sides is something that I also agree with 😅
