He’s been obsessed with Ray’s life for years even after he finally settled down with Amy. He’s always dreamt of having a wife like the way Ray found Debra, but when it came to paying attention to his own love life, he found it hard to commit. I’m surprised yet relieved that they never wrote a twist in the show; the reason why Robert can’t commit is because he’s secretly in love with Debra and can’t reveal it for the sake of the family. Then, when it comes to family life, Robert envies Ray for having three beautiful children, but when the subject comes up for him and Amy to have kids, all of a sudden he says they’re not ready? Robert doesn’t know what he wants and he never had.

Kids under a certain age can only be on set for a limited number hours. Had the show gone on longer I think they would have gotten more stories but even so I think that they were featured well whenever we did see them.
The problem with rays kids is she is always there so she will not get the happy grandma from them that's her own fault like ray said stay away 4 a while then you will get the grandma happy she is here
