唱得好正 比起beyond有另一種味道
有人認為佢地唱得差 其實歌手唱得好聽或是不好聽都只是大家的主觀意見
只是...我覺得他們敢於挑戰翻唱一首港人耳熟能詳的經典歌 而且更嘗試用acapella演繹《海闊天空》
而佢地唱出黎既作品的風格和味道都令人眼前一亮 good job~
咬字差小小, 不等於唱不出這首歌的精神. 音樂是人類的共同藝術. 它的美是大家都可以享受。

少了一點BEYOND熱血的感覺，不過單憑他們努力練習的咬字(我的外國朋友學CANTONESE真的覺得很難)我也LIKE一下﹗他們好聽，不過我還是喜歡熱血點的版本。

I just couldn't stop my tears when I heard your cover. I began to listen to Beyond's music when I was 13 and now I'm nearly 24. I just love them so much. You know life is truely not easy for me. Now I'm a student in the US and I'm still fighting for my life and my dream. When I hear their songs I feel like that I have the power and strength to achieve my dream. Your cover is just beautiful. Forgive my poor english I cant find another word to express the feeling. It's just beautiful and I just couldn't help crying. It touched my heart. Thank you guys for the great work.

Truly agree. They sing so beautiful. Most important is their pronoucation is so clear and accurate.
While many of us are impressed by how good are their Cantonese pronunciations, we might forget that this is pure vocal harmony without any instruments. It was done so well that the essence of the song was fully conveyed. Well done guys!

It deeply amazed me as your pronunciation is really good. Of course compare with native speakers there is still some difference, but Cantonese is indeed one of the most difficult languages in the world, hard to learn, almost impossible to master, as a native speaker I think you guys master it really well. Your voices are beautiful and I look forward to seeing more such outstanding performances of you all.
1. Cantonese isn't really that difficult, it just isn't often taught (well) to non-native speakers. Even in Hong Kong, courses for Mandarin are better taught than the courses for Cantonese -- even the Cantonese courses for Mandarin speakers! (The CUHK courses used to be the exception, but I hear quality has dropped recently.) And of course it is difficult to learn to speak Cantonese when everyone wants to switch to Mandarin or English to make things easy for the learner -- not what people would do for a learner in Beijing or London!
2. Singers (musicians generally) are known to be able to pick up pronunciations and accents more easily than most. Of the people who didn't grow up speaking and hearing Cantonese (and some who did grow up hearing it -- love you, HK-raised English friends who never bothered to speak!), those I know with good Cantonese pronunciation were singers or musicians.

I remember Kevin used to always sing Boyz 2 Men, "End of The Road" and "Blackwater" by The Doobie Brothers in between rehearsals during High School band camp back the 90's.. knew he had some sweet vocal chops back then. Glad to see he put them to good use professionally.

Nevertheless, asked my dad to explain this to me, and I'm touched and completely 100% aware of the current state of poor HK. Lived there for 12 years... Oh my god! This is really touching. I'm a Hong Konger and I was expecting to hear an english version under a vast sky, and it really surprised me! I am a cantonese native and I can recognize every single word you pronounced, and the voice is also amazing! This song means a lot to HKers. HK people are fighting against the cruel government and chasing for real democracy and freedom. This song means a lot to us who chases our dreams. Thanks a lot for your work, you guys let me know we are not alone.

This is what I grew up with, my dad loves them and so do I...growing up in Hong Kong that is inevitable. I’ve known this song for as long as I can remember. I rmb didn’t even knowing what the lyrics meant while singing it, I literally knew this song before I knew my own mother tongue. And somehow seeing foreigners being it it just brings back the nostalgia... Well done dudes!
the beauty of Ka Kui's song lyrics is that even though it touches upon difficult situations, personal struggles & frustrations, there is always a hint of optimism, a ray of hope, an reassurance that yes it's worth the effort to try! The last 3 lines of the lyrics I would translate as 'it's easy (for anyone) to just abandon the dream or deviate from the path of reaching the goals, (but I'll persevere) even though in the end there're just you and me still believing and pursuing (our dreams)'
