Hey! I did an interview last year and didn’t get the position. Fast forward I did an interview on Monday and got a call on Wednesday that I got the job!! Can I ask, how long is training and is it a full day of training 9-5?
Hi congrats on the job! I'm not sure if the training has changed since when I started in 2016 but I did a 3 day 8-5 teller simulation training in a building that wasn't the chase branch. then we observed coworkers and do a lot of online training at the branch. I did that for about 3 weeks
How should your CV look when you are applying for chase because i feel for investment banking firm your CV has to be a certain/ skills they are looking for.
Hi Dianna , I have few enquiries regarding your field for my research can u tell me how many tellers are present in your branch? And if possible can you tell me on an average how many tellers are present in a branch considering all branches across the nation? I hope I will get the answer for either of question and TIA!!!
Dianna, thank you for sharing and great advise. Did you need to take Chase Teller Assessment Tests on computer that include: personality test, customer service, math, vocabulary, written communication, reading comprehension, and bank teller simulation also on a computer?
I'm very introverted, I'm very nice and helpful when talking to customers but I can't imagine making small talk evert time with them. Do you think that will be a problem?
Hi I applied for the associate banker position at chase. I was wondering how long it generally takes for a call back. I applied to three locations in my area it had said on my profile that one location is reviewing my application. And the other ones are in progress. In addition I have 9 years of retail customer service experience and 5 years of management experience.
I don't work there anymore, but there are policies and procedures in place to protect the bank and customers. We are dealing with people's money, we need to watch out for counterfeit, fraud, and count large amounts of cash to ensure accuracy. The main thing that causes delays is when customers wouldn't have their slips filled out before getting to the counter or did not know what they wanted to do.
Hey not sure if you’ll see this because I’m late, but I’ve worked retail for about a year. Would you say this job is a high stress job or more or less laid back? Also, I have always struggled in like high school math but can do the basic math, you think I’d be good to go for this job?
Hello! Yes you don't have to be good at math because the computer pretty much calculates everything for you. Counting money is more important but you will get used to it and there are also machines to help count the cash. And for the first few months I personally was stressed just because there's lots of policies but once you get used to that it's low stress but at the same time always keeping an eye out for potential fraud
