Great video S! So do you still recommend the 150r over training on an ohvale? I ask this cause getting my body positioning better on a sport bike is my goal. Is there a difference training positioning on the 150r or is the work translatable?

I think both are equally great training tools, and honestly barely milliseconds apart in the right hands. I personally found the ohvale to be incredible, sometimes whilst riding the 150, I missed the ergonomics of the ohvale. With that said, a 150 with clip ons will do the same with a longer wheelbase and more room to move. My defining thing was the wheelbase. The 150 is a bit longer and being that the seat is larger being able to move in it was it for me. I’m 5 7 or 173 cm. I strongly believe ohvales work unbeatably until 5 6 or 5 5, ant taller and you’re looking for a bit of a squeeze. Now, in a Kart track, these things are much better than anything else. I rode a 450 now, but I could have not done it unless I spend a couple of years training with these things. Good luck! Oh and no matter what the training translates to a sport bike no matter which one you choose. And more than body positioning, what will translate is feel, feel of loss of traction, feel of lean angle, feel of limits really.

@@4strokehearts Thank you - this is all understandable and makes sense that it'll translate over. Since that's what I'm going for, I'll wait for the right deal to pop-up then, I'm off to Dixon! Hopefully sooner rather than later 😛

Just curious, how tall are you and how much do you weigh? I’m 6’2” 220, I feel like I’d be a bit tall for these bikes. But I want one so bad.

      Yeah 6 2 is pushing it, I’m 5 7, I’d recommend a CRF 150R with 17 in rims

It does not matter, in my euro-pocket bike club there were plenty of 6'2"+ guys. And i am 280 pounds with my full suit and I had a blast with pocket bikes. This one is 3x the size of the pocket bike we had, so you should be pretty comfortable. I will probably buy one eventually. I prefer small bikes and you can ride on go kart track with this.

Would look so much better with dual front disc brakes.
